"The breakfast was subpar. The only complaint I have."

"The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

"This was a very clean, new hotel with all the comforts you could want. The room was well-appointed with little hooks to hang your jackets and small bags, nice places to put your luggage and an ample bathroom. It was nicely decorated and modern. Breakfast was more than sufficient. We traveled with our two small pets and found that the pet area out back was not so good. That area needs work, but overall this hotel was excellent. "I wish i give them about 100 negative starts this place is disgustingly, funky smell once you enter the lobby than the room had a worst smell ended up leaving the place my toddler her self told me it smell funny just stay away feom this place . "

"We had stayed here more than once and this time was one of the poorest. We had no television after 8:00pm. couldn't find anything to watch. Poor reception in our room.We also disappointed that the room needed a good dusting(especially the bathroom). Our room was musty smelling. On top of that most of breakfast was cold!!!!!!!!I put a bagel in the toaster for 5 minutes and it was barely brown. Might have to consider another hotel. New crew in charge?????"

"Room was clean. It is an older property so keep this in mind. The lighting in the bed area didn’t work when we checked in. It was kind of bazaar, but when we found the plug in for the bedside lamps it was loose. After pushing it back in all of the lighting worked in the area except the reading lamps. "Plenty of parking. Seems as though they are updating the rooms. The staff is professional, though not outgoing and friendly. Most frustrating is the fact that there are no towel hangers or plugs in the bathroom area. Also, the HVAC is either "Cool" or "Heat". Due to the dated HVAC, you are unable to set a temperature for the room. "

"The Dunmore was a spotless motel. It wasn't fancy, but it was immaculately clean and conveniently located on our route. We love doing "Mom & Pop" whenever feasible. The air conditioner was a bit strange to operate, and the thermostat on the wall was about to fall off. The beds were comfortable and cozy.
