Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Come and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors at Walden Creek Cabin! This modern-chic cabin provides 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, stylish furnishings with high-end touches and best of all - delightful mountain views.

It's only a short drive to downtown Dahlonega, award winning wineries, whitewater rafting, hiking and bike trails, while remaining remote and very private.

You will love the charm of our cozy and secluded Walden Creek Cabin; its perfect for family vacations as well as romantic getaways. Enjoy a drink on the expansive deck by the fire table, string up a hammock in the “Hammock Village” (bring your favorite hammock) or enjoy a siesta on the hanging bed in the screened-in porch! All while soaking in the views of the North Georgia mountains.

Our Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed and Roku TV. The two upstairs “open-loft” bedrooms feature a queen bed in each room with gorgeous views of an enchanting forest. The downstairs bathroom is complete with a walk-in shower while the upstairs has a separate shower room from the bathroom. That way someone could be getting ready while someone else is in the shower.

Preparing meals is easy in our full kitchen complete with stove, refrigerator, drip coffeemaker, French Press and microwave. Plus everything you need to make a home cooked meal. We also have an outdoor grill, free Wifi, Roku TV, and a collection of family-friendly board games for your enjoyment. And if you’re in the mood for s’mores you’re welcome to start up a relaxing fire in the outdoor fire pit.

Beautiful cabin with nice amenities and a great view. Check-in process was clear and easy.However, the cabin wasn't cleaned properly. I contacted the property manager and she offered to assist but by the time she responded we had already cleaned.Also, there's no cell service at the cabin. The internet was out all week. While this is not the fault of the owner, the property manager said the ISP "has so many issues" so be warned that you may have little or no connectivity while you're there.

Perfect getaway with views

Girls trip to Dahlonega to wineries and chill was perfect here!! Cute little cabin with great views and adorable decor. It was wonderful to have everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Exceptional

By far our favorite cabin to stay in Dahlonega. Family of 4 (15 and 12 year old) and the cabin was as beautiful as advertised. Exceptional views, VERY clean inside and out. Cabin is very well situated as it’s near many vineyards. Perfect touch of cozy modern cabin feel. Rebekah was very responsive. We will definitely be back.

Walden Creek Cabin

Loved the cabin. The cabin was exactly as described and pictured in the ad. Great Mountain View’s from the deck. A short 15 minute drive into Dahlonega where there are restaurants, shops and during our stay was the lighting of the town square for Christmas. Shirt drives to great hiking areas and the start of the Appalachian Trail. Evenings were great on the deck with the gas fire. Greatly enjoyed the cabin and would not hesitate to return.

Lovely Fall Views

My family (2 littles under 4) had a great fall long weekend here. The cabin is lovely and comfy with as-pictured mountain views from all the living areas. The bedrooms upstairs do have loft windows open down to main living space (so had to keep kiddos away from the openings) but otherwise had a great stay. Quiet neighborhood was nice too.

Comfortable stay.

The place was clean, comfortable and cozy. It was our base, so to speak, a welcome respite after a long day of travelling. Should we go to N. GA again, this will be our first choice! Our 4 yr old is still talking about going back. 🙂

Little slice of Heaven

This house was beautiful and was a home-away-from-home. We had everything we needed. There was a full kitchen with pots and pans, dishes, utensils and more; there was bottled water in the fridge, breakfast bars, and a coffee maker, along with coffee and the “fixings.” There were towels, plenty of blankets and pillows. The rooms were adorably decorated and well-furnished, and the beds were comfortable. The house had huge windows downstairs which really let us take in the scenery. The outside screened-in sitting area was really nice. We made s’mores by a campfire, sitting in comfortable Adirondack chairs. We played board games and card games that were provided. It really was a nice place and we will definitely stay there again. There was lots of literature about Dahlonega and the surrounding area available in the cabin, along with a guidebook. The host and property manager were great and very communicative. They were very helpful with directions, instructions and answered questions about the area. We recommend 10/10!

Walden Creek Cabin

Beautiful views, can hear the close by waterfall. The first set of external stairs don't have a railing ( there are 2 sets) and the interior stairs are a bit steep, but even with my knee issue, didn't have any problems Love the deck and porch, my grandson was very happy that you have wi-fi We throughly enjoyed our stay and hated to leave! Rebekah was very responsive to my multitude of questions, great place to stay for a peaceful getaway 😀

Quaint Mountain Getaway

Had a lovely girls trip at this cabin! Even though it rained most of the time we enjoyed the screen porch and the sound of rain on the roof. Would recommend this mountain getaway!

Stunning Walden Creek Cabin!

Excellent communication with hosts and far more beautiful in person! Very spacious for a big family and still feels cozy with just the 2 of us! Beauty abounds everywhere and so do the Waterfalls!!! We had an amazing time and a wonderful Anniversary!!!

Family getaway

Beautiful property. Waterfall within a short difference. We missed it until we read the review. We came to the area during a festival. Quaint quiet. We had a 5 month baby and a 3 year old toddler.
