"We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."

"It was the most amazing room we stayed over the past 2 weeks. I would highly recommend it. It was very clean and very well appointed. Very close to the castle and restaurants as well as some lovely nature trails by the river. The entire place was beautiful and was also incredibly quiet. It checked all of our boxes plus some. Would give it 6 stars if I could."

"The accommodations were great and we made use of the available bbq for a great dinner cooked right outside our cabin.
The farm animals were a hit with our girls and provided lots of entertainment.
Our questions were promptly answered and the hosts were readily available.
I recommend this place for families or just a quiet couple retreat."

"The property was easy to find, communication was good, and the location worked well for our needs, with a quick drive into Inverness. Street parking was also easy and convenient.
Unfortunately, the apartment itself was quite tired and not particularly comfortable. There was an odd, musty odor on the first floor, and the stairs were steeper than expected. The shower had only fair to low water pressure.
The biggest issue was the beds. Each bedroom had two very narrow beds that felt smaller than...
