Cabin A at Smith Lake Alabama Cabin’s

Free water trampoline on property and kayaks available to rent.
There are 3 cabins available for rent on the same large lot that can be rented together for larger groups or individually. Cabin A sits on top of Cabin B (Duplex), and Cabin C is on the other side of the property. There are two large swim piers to share. Room for 4 boats. Each cabin has 2 queen bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Please note, this is cabin A.
Experience the beauty of Smith Lake from the Rocking chairs on the large front porch. The lot is fully manicured and shaded, making it a cool shaded place for kids to play and to take a break from the sun.

Jump in and enjoy the year round deep water from the 14x20 swim pier complete with a ladder and boat Cleats to tie off on.

If your a fisherman, our fish are fed regularly and are easy to catch off the pier.

After a long day of playing, kick back and relax in the beautiful cabin complete with cozy furniture, wifi, smart tv and a rustic feel.

This cabin has 2 Queen beds, and one reclining sofa.

We provide an outdoor charcoal grill for your pleasure.

Location is everything! We are located 5 minutes from Dodge City, 15 minutes from Cullman, 40 minutes from Birmingham, and 55 minutes from Huntsville.

The lake lot lays well; just walk through the yard to the dock walkway and you are on the water-you don't have to go down hundreds of steps to get to the water. We recently added additional parking at the road. Allowing easy access for 3 rigs with boats to back down into parking near the cabins and two additional rigs with boats to easily pull in and out at the entrance. There is ample parking for cars as well.

Very noisy bed in the room with the view of the lake. Very dirty furniture on the porch, dirty bedroom window, dirty faucets. Every lamp was unplugged so I plugged them in and one didn't have a good bulb in it, and we needed a fan but didn't find it in the other rooms closet until we were checking out. Because of the noisy bed we didn't stay the 2nd night, we went into Huntsville and got a room. 3rd night we tried the cabin again and I was up and down all night with an upset stomach and ran out of toilet paper since y'all only supply one for a 4 days stay. Half the day Saturday there were people at the cabins next door pressure washing for hours and cutting tree limbs. We decided to go check out the dam since they were making so much noise. Also there is something stuck in the plug in the bedroom on the lakeside causing you to not be able to plug in your phone charger and have the lamp on too. I wasn't impressed and I think you need a better cleaning lady.

Everything I needed was at the cabin. I took the time to pack a bunch of extra items for cooking and grilling and didn’t even need it lol. My family really enjoyed the stay!

Firstly the big issue was the fact that the cabin was double booked only by chance did we arrive first. The second group to arrive weren’t lucky they lost there lodging and they were able to enter the premises after we checked in, and left the cabin unlocked. This raises security issues. I am alarmed that a computerized system double booked. I was also a little disappointed that the cabins were 2 up so we didn’t feel as though we had the cabin to ourselves we were sharing with strangers. Lastly small issues inlude only one trash bag was found for a 4 night stay, perhaps shelves above the toilet and the towel rack opposite the toilet to allow guests a place for their toiletries. The tv in main bedroom would not turn off. Was found unplugged upon arrival. Had to unplug it to turn off when leaving.

Hull stay

Cabin A at Smith Lake was a great cabin for our stay! It was a perfect size for my husband, two dogs, and myself! It’s a great authentic-like log cabin with a pretty view from the deck. We had a great stay and look forward to staying again in the future!

Great place to relax!

This is a wonderful property. It was perfect for a quiet get-away with family. Only suggestion I have is that it be advertised more as only a portion of the home. I read this was cabin “A” but didn’t realize cabin “B” was directly below us. We could hear everything the family below us said.
