Unfortunately, the hot tub was broken and we didn't know that until we arrived. Tonya stayed in constant communication with me about it and tried to fix it, but we were disappointed that we couldn't use it, as that was one of the main reasons we picked this property.However, Tonya was an excellent host, and the place was beautiful and spacious with plenty of games to keep us occupied. If you want a quiet place to get away from it all with plenty of outdoor views, this is your next stay!

We loved the horse ranch! The property is so cool, and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The kids loved fishing and hiking the property, and there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep! The house is old, and so cool! This is a unique place to stay over. And we loved it. The hot tub wasn’t functional, as it wasn’t heated, but we didn’t mind not having it! The AC kept the house comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked, as was the bathroom! We highly recommend.

Truly an amazing stay. Check-in was super easy. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and condiments to make for a wonderful stay. Lots of areas to sleep and rest and relax. And the scenery, the horses, and the host were incredible. We can't wait to come back and visit. Anyone who is ready for just a little slice of heaven in the country I highly suggest this stay.

We loved staying here! It was clean, spacious, and such a relaxing, beautiful location. Our girls loved the friendly dog and horses. The host was very helpful and great at communicating. We’d love to come back in the fall sometime!

Tonya was tremendously helpfully and communicative when needed. The property was well stocked (with many left behind items from other guests which I do not prefer, but it is not altogether uncommon at a rental). I must have missed in the property description that the only means of heat was a wood burning stove. This wasn’t a big issue as I grew up with one, but it had gone out before I realized that it was our heat source and I had to restart it and keep it stoked. Once we realized this there was ample wood supplied to do so. With a clear understanding of the property I would recommend.We had a lovely though chilly stay and enjoyed a quick pat of the horses and many pets of the dogs.

The hot tub could be hotter but it certainly worked on keeping the aches away. I appreciate the care and patience when horseback riding which made the experience very memorable. Loved the ranch. You should add those small strips of lights under the kitchen cabinets. Loved having a full kitchen.

When I first booked the property I thought oh cool a horse ranch. But the reality of it was “ this place is amazing” one of the very best vrbos we have ever stayed at. The host and her family were so friendly and the horses were there a rooster that just chilled and dogs who were so nice and friendly. Sadie offered a tour of the property and it was just an all around great experience would recommend to not only family and friend but also complete strangers.

Peaceful, comfortable stay

Cozy, well furnished, comfortable accommodations. Quiet, peaceful surroundings. We were encouraged to walk around the property, play with the friendly dogs, visit the horses and use the grill. We felt like we were home! Lovely experience.

Fabulous group stay and location

Our Girl Scout Troop thoroughly enjoyed this place!! The horses, the decore, the hot tub, games, ability to sleep in proximity for late night chats, plenty of room for everyone to eat together, and the list goes on. The leaders loved that we met the rules where we were separate for sleeping and also had plenty of space. There was so much to explore that the leaders could get some downtime and troop was still busy. Close proximity to mammoth cave visitor center and from there, only 15 miles to Buc-cees. Everything about this place is fun, clean and all your needs are met!! Thanks so much Tonya !! You have a great place !!

Great family stay at Dragon Fly Ranch

Its a legit working horse farm on 90 acres. We have 4 kids, ages 7 to 12. They loved it. Tonya, the host, is super helpful and friendly. Walk the grounds, pet the horses, explore the pastures, check out the "cave". A bit of a drive to Mammoth Caves, but we were looking for a place that was a little more secluded. Would definitely recommend for a great experience!

Staying at a ranch, we didn't expect it to be so clean. But this was the cleanest vacation house we have ever stayed at!! The horses and dogs were amazing. Tonya was great! We will definitely be returning!!
