The house sits on Playa Azul — a quiet, unhurried stretch of Guanacaste's Gold Coast. Costa Rican law keeps the beachfront wild and undeveloped, which is part of why it stays so beautiful. The beach is a short walk through the trees, under five minutes. The pool is private. Howler monkeys move through the canopy every morning. The pace here is its own.

THE HOUSE
Four queen bedrooms, each with a private balcony, en suite bathroom, large closet, and air conditioning, sleep up to eight. A fully equipped kitchen — grocery shopping available on request through the house manager before arrival. Outdoor dining area and BBQ. One television in the main living room; the bedrooms are quiet. Strong WiFi throughout. Washer and dryer on-site.

THE SERVICE
Fully managed on-site throughout your stay. Housekeeping three times a week, flexible on request. Yoga available at the Azul Hotel or arranged at the house. In-house massage available through the property manager. The Azul Hotel, directly across the road, welcomes Casa del Sol guests for breakfast and dinner — walk over, pay on-site.

THE LOCATION
Playa Azul is on Guanacaste's Gold Coast, roughly 45 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR), with direct flights from most major U.S. cities. When you're ready to move: surfing, sportfishing, horseback riding, ATV tours, sea turtle nesting tours (seasonal), kayaking, paddleboarding, scuba diving, zip-lining, and guided nature and birdwatching are all easily arranged locally.
