The property looked exactly like the photos, however I don't recall an occupied camper on the listing. There were occupants on the property grounds that neither myself or my husband were expecting on my birthday get away. It made me uncomfortable to have additional, people sharing the grounds. Had we been made aware that this was at least a possibility, we could have explored other options for a private excursion. The check in process was ok, I was given an access code for the door.. simple and easy...Typically when we check into a VRBO, there is a welcome packet or a hand written letter welcoming us to the property with a list of rules and nearby attractions. There wasn't one here, the reason I am mentioning this, on Day 4 of my 5 day stay, I received a phone call around 7:00 pm from the owner, stating we had not completed the "waiver" for the property. I informed her that we did not have one.. She stated she would forfeit the rental if not received by 9:30pm. She also contacted VRBO who also called stating the same thing. I wake up to a paper taped to the front door at 6am. If this is a requirement of the rental, please email the waiver prior to check-in or have it on site to be completed upon arrival.Overall, the area was amazing, beautiful scenic drive with amazing restaurants nearby.
