Enjoy the magnificent waterfront views from this custom-built home with a private pier! Nestled in the quiet Arden on the Severn community, this 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath is styled by the owners. Upon entering the home you will be greeted by the colorful living room, with locally-designed furniture, and a gas fireplace. To the left is the den with the flatscreen TV and the bright powder room.

The back of the house opens up to the spacious dining room/gourmet kitchen combo with stunning water views. The high-end finishes in the kitchen are ideal for the chef on vacation and the blue finishes make the kitchen feel like an extension of living by the Severn. The dining room has seating for 8 with additional seating for 3 more at the breakfast bar. Walk out the back door of the kitchen to the fully-furnished deck, overlooking the private backyard and pier. Take a stroll down past the chicken coop to another furnished deck and private pier.

*There is a locked-off lower-level apartment with a long-term tenant who helps maintain the grounds and the chicken coop.

The house was cool. Kind of quirky as the owner must use it. Loved the dock and waterfront. The listing has said there was a tenant in the lower part of the house. It was a bit strange to hear a dog and baby when there. And then not to meet them. And we weren’t sure if we should park in the driveway as the tenant parked in the garage and we would block them in. So we parked in the street.

This was one of the best home rentals we've stayed at in a long time. The house was very clean and the lake view was spectacular. It was a nice & quiet area. Someone clearly lives in the house normally--there were clothes and things in the closets--but that didn't affect our stay at all. We enjoyed all the decorations and things that made it homey. Everything was comfortable, and they had extra things like a high chair (which we didn't need but would've appreciated if we did). They even left us some fresh eggs from their chickens, which was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend.

Very nice property -

The house is very clean, updated and very comfortable. The views are so relaxing. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood. As described in the listing, there are renters that live in the lowest floor. This was not an issue during our stay. We stayed here for the Annapolis Sailboat Show. It is a 25-30 minute drive to Annapolis, but it is an easy, pretty drive. We made the round trip multiple times and it was not an issue. We would definitely stay here again!

Arden-on-the-Severn

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely updated house on the Severn River. The open first floor and kitchen area was particularly nice. The house was also up to our high standards of cleanliness. The views from the house and dock of the river were excellent. Communication with VRBO was easy as well as the electronic check-in. We appreciated the bottle of wine and fresh eggs from the hens on the property. There are quite a few steps from the house to the dock so a person with mobility issues might be challenged. As the ad mentions, there was a couple in the basement level apartment. They were very nice and this was not a problem for us but future renters should be aware of this. We enjoyed our time there and would recommend this property.

Wonderful getaway

We had a short weekend to spend with our midshipman daughter and this was a fabulous escape. Close enough to USNA to be convenient but far enough away to feel like it was a getaway for our daughter. The house was beautiful and perfect for us. Can’t wait to come back!!!
