Pet & Family Friendly Log Cabin On Family Farm

LOCATED IN THE NATURAL SCENERY OF WESTERN KENTUCKY JUST NORTH OF NASHVILLE, TN.

Family friendly, pet friendly and laid back is our mantra! The cabin sits in the middle of 700 acres so no neighbors, no street sounds and lots of open sky to star gaze at night, not to mention the OVERLOOK, be sure to ask where it is.
We have a pond you can fish on but bring your boots.. This is a farm and they are all natural!
At this time, we are not providing pillows or blankets.. be sure to bring your own.
We hope you don't mind dogs, because we have 4 rescues that run the farm! They are very friendly and lovable.
Be sure that everyone can swim and that no one will be left alone, there is no lifeguard on duty.
Pool is open from Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day Weekend and is shared with the property owners.
There is no WIFI, this is your opportunity to check in to nature and check out of all the distractions!
We want you to have a relaxing experience at Burdoc Farms!

My husband and I, along with our 2 dogs, stayed on our way to moving from Chicago to Florida. Wish we could have stayed longer. The dogs LOVED the chickens and roosters and rabbits and dogs. Do plan do awaken early to sunlight and roosters! Worked great for us. Sara is awesome, pool was clean and ready to go, grounds were fantastic. Families and those with pets will love this farm. One star missing only because no grocery stores nearby! Not fault of farm, but come prepared.

This is a very beautiful area to stay. On arrival (5/13) we found that the pool was not open yet. Listing said it would open May 1. Also, refrigerator was not working and appeared to have been broken for a while (freezer temperature was 80 degrees). I messaged owner to let them know about the refrigerator and they thanked me for letting them know. No offer to supply coolers and ice or anything. I thought it was very poor customer service.

Fit our needs for our dogs. A full size bed and better mattress would have it better. Directions to tv and DVD would have been great. Definitely would recommend this place and would stay again.

Absolutely wonderful week! Thank you! House was fantastic and pool was amazing. Most cleanest pool we have ever been in! Quiet and beautiful views! We had a wonderful time at the farm! The cabin was great and the pool was very clean as the owners took care of it every day during our stay. It's a very large pool (with a deep end) that our son absolutely loved playing in! In their listing it says it's a shared pool but the owners were extremely nice with letting us use it like a private pool. The only downfall for me was that it only has one bedroom with dormitory-like sleeping arrangements but the fact that they allow larger dogs totally made up for it! The Overlook was absolutely breathtaking as were the farm grounds. Lots of wildlife to see as well! All-in-all our family had a great time and would definitely recommend staying at Burdoc Farms!

My group loved every minute of our stay. The accommodations were wonderful. The farm was gorgeous. We were there for a girls weekend, but I could see having a wedding there would be beautiful. I loved the little photo opportunities that were set up. The pool was just what we needed. The restaurant in town recommended by the owner was delicious. It was quiet and wonderful.

If you're looking for a private pool in an idyllic rural setting, this is a great choice. The accommodations are more down-to-earth than high luxury, like visiting a favorite aunt at her cool working farm, but the pool is refreshing and the secluded countryside is incredibly relaxing. Be sure to stop at the Crofton Country Cupboard and stock up on all the Amish canned foods and baked goods you could ever eat. Don't miss the overlook at the top of the hill, either. My 9yo daughter and I had an amazing Father's Day weekend. We hope to return.

We had such a nice weekend. We loved the pool and being able to just relax. Sara was helpful in letting us know what was nearby and showing us the overlook. The only thing I wish we knew ahead of time was that while there are 2 grills on the property you must provide your own propane. We had brought lots of food to grill and would have brought a tank too if we knew that, but we had to run out and buy a tank so we could use the grill. We did enjoy our stay though.

This was a beautiful area. Sara and Keith were wonderful to work with. We loved staying here. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful place to get away.

This location is beautiful and super relaxed. There is no internet so do be prepared to use a hotspot for that if you have kids with virtual learning. That was the only blip in our stay and was quickly remedied by communicating with Sara. The pool is great, the view of the night sky is wonderful and we definitely want to come back!
