  • Este refugio de montaña hecha a la medida se siente como en casa! Exquisitamente amuebladas, la Amapola Roja cuenta con 3 dormitorios y 2 ½ baños, pisos de roble y pizarra recuperados, cocina gourmet con rango de Lobo, y vistas panorámicas del Monte Crested Butte, la ciudad de Crested Butte, y las montañas circundantes desde todas las habitaciones.

    La planta baja incluye 2 dormitorios-el primero con una cama de matrimonio, y la segunda con una litera doble / doble que incluye un doble nido adicional. Un cuarto de baño completo, personalizado es compartida por las dos habitaciones.

    Después de un día de esquí, el ciclismo o el senderismo, retirarse a la amplia sala de estar en el segundo piso. Rodeado de ventanas y bañado en luz natural, relajarse en el sofá de gran tamaño o en la terraza con una impresionante vista del Monte Crested Butte. Un televisor de pantalla plana, reproductor de vídeo, equipo de música Bose, juegos, cocina gourmet, gran terraza con parrilla de gas, comedor de teca fijó para el 8 y sillas de Adirondack hacer La amapola roja es el lugar perfecto para entretener a la familia y amigos! Y en el verano, relajarse en la terraza y escuchar conciertos de verano en el Centro de Butte Crested para las Artes - sin tener que abandonar la casa.

    Custom puertas francesas fuera de la sala de estar que conducen a la acogedora habitación principal arriba. Con una cama king size, sábanas de lujo, TV de pantalla plana, una biblioteca y una ducha de vapor, le resultará difícil salir de este entrenamiento de lujo!

    Si lo anterior no es suficiente, también hay un garaje con calefacción para 2 coches que ofrece aparcamiento cubierto y almacenamiento para esquís y equipo. Dos bicicletas 'townie' también están disponibles para todos los huéspedes! El supermercado, cine, y la lanzadera de esquí libre son una cuadra de distancia, el parque y zona de juegos están al otro lado de la calle, y Elk Avenida está a sólo una corta distancia de la propiedad.

We loved the location. Concerts, parks , groceries, bus service. Everything was close but we weren’t bothered by crowds and congestion. The decor is nice but the house is showing signs of wear. We stayed there two years ago and the linens( green towels esp) and throw rugs really look worn. It’s comfy. We were a party of 4 adults and Three kids and it “worked”!!

Crested Butte summer stay.

Great location in CB! We enjoyed being in walking distance to town. Property was just right for our party of four. Very clean & well maintained property!

Great Find

I rented this space for a ski weekend in February. The space is large & has more than enough room for a large group of people! Would definitely stay here again! My group did have confusion when finding the space as the front side of the house is inhabited by locals. Just know you must go to the back side of the house for the entrance.

Comfortable and good location

We enjoyed staying at this property for 3 nights. It was comfortable and a great location close to downtown. The property needed attention during our stay however, with toilet problems that took a few hours to fix, and a gas stove that was never fixed while we were there. In addition, one of the showers had mold on the shower curtain. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but it seemed like our problems could have been prevented with more extensive maintenance between renters.

As architects we are pretty picky about the quality of the places we stay.

As architects we are pretty picky about the quality of the places we stay...Overall this is one of the nicer places we have stayed in, but here are a few suggestions. The door levers on a couple of the closet doors were installed incorrectly or ordered incorrectly. The beds were mostly comfortable, with the exception of the bottom bunk bed. The ceiling is a hazard in the master. We are both on the shorter side, but we both banged our heads a couple of times. The master bathroom smells mildewy, probably because of the steam shower and no fresh air. We used the fan. Towels also were stinky and we didn't see a second set anywhere.. Coffee pot was dirty inside and impossible to clean because it has a narrow opening - invest in a new coffee maker. I couldn't get garage door to lock, so was a little nervous about having skis in there unlocked. Otherwise all was great!

A good house for our 2 family vacation

This house is an easy walk to town, and we never had trouble with parking next to it with two larger vehicles. It has plenty of room for two families to stay, and we cooked dinner there most nights. The kitchen was great! It’s also close to two great parks for kids to play at.

The unit was in a great location in Crested Butte. Close to Elk Ave. and all the shopping and restaurants . Also close to the playground for the kids.

Comfortable and convenient

We stayed for a skiing vacation. The property is a short walk from the grocery store and the shuttle bus for transport to the mountain resort. Everything worked and the property was well-maintained and clean. We had a great time.

Excellent house

Great property with a nice third floor master. Master shower doubles as a small sauna. On the edge of downtown so everything there is walkable and definitely bikeable. Garage was door was broken at time of stay and ATV was in one bay, so inside parking for only one car when fixed. Back side of the duplex so limited outdoor area.

Crested Butte Ultra and fall folliage

My family had a wonderful long weekend at this property. It was right across from the start of my Ultra running race which was a bonus. We were able to walk to all the parks with the kids and downtown restaurants. The fall colors were amazing while we were there. The home was perfect for our needs. Great location, clean and well equipped.

Crested Butte Getaway

This 3 bedroom house met the needs of my family. The well equipped kitchen, dining, living room, and deck are all on the second level. Very comfortable area. Two bedrooms on the first level and the master with king bed is on the third. Right next to the park where we enjoyed an outdoor summer concert. Short walk to Elk Avenue.

Wonderful time in Crested Butte!

We LOVED this house! There were so many places to sleep and the home had so much charm-everything from the antique(ish) stove in the beautiful kitchen to the master sauna/shower in the adorable third floor master. Even the owners matching towels/floor mats/tea kettle were precious. The house is in a perfect location-walk to the market and Main Street w restaurants and only a few minute drive up the hill to the slopes. We had a wonderful visit. We’ll def be back!

Spring break from Denver

Loved this property! So cute and cozy and perfect location. Highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again. One thing that looks would be nice would be to pave the walkway from the street to the door. Our car with the Thule wouldn’t fit in the garage so we parked on the street. Since it’s spring, the snow was melting and the weather was amazing. But, our shoes got covered in mud every time we left. Therefore, the foyer got muddy. Not a big deal though—just felt bad for the cleaners. Awesome stay and great time has by all!

Lovely Time at Red Poppy!

The property was as described and fully equipped for our family at Christmas time. The short walk to the mountain shuttle was so convenient and we enjoyed being within 10 minutes of all of the restaurants. We would absolutely stay there again and had a cozy, snowboarding holiday!
