Located in downtown Crested Butte only two houses from the park and 2blks to free ski bus stop! It's a pleasant 5 minute walk to the heart of historic downtown Crested Butte with shops, galleries and restaurants and just two blocks away is the town shuttle pick-up Be sure to check out the Center for the Arts’ Alpenglow, a free outdoor concert series on Monday evenings during the summer, located only one block from the house.

The house has two bedrooms and one full bathroom located on the first level. Both bedrooms have queen beds.

The second floor has an open plan with the kitchen, dining, and living area where you can relax and enjoy the views of Crested Butte in all its splendor. Bamboo flooring in the living area, bedrooms and kitchen, tiled bathrooms and a unique blue stone entryway. Plus, cozy in-floor radiant heat throughout.

The second full bathroom and washer/dryer are also located on the second level. There is a loft located above the kitchen for storage of extra luggage, with pull down ladder access. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room plus a queen air mattress for additional guests which fits in living area or either bedroom.

The kitchen being located on the second floor allows the cook to still be part of all the fun while enjoying the scenery. Kitchen equipped with 2 under counter fridges, 1 freezer for optimum counter space, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, garbage disposal and all cookware & dinnerware.

Windows surround the upstairs living/dinning area and kitchen keeping it bright and sunny. Insulated shades throughout the house for privacy and energy efficiency. Wood burning stove is located in the living area, which has TV with Amazon Firestick, dvd player, board games and wi-fi.

Both bathrooms are tiled with in-floor heat, plush bath towels, hair dryer and extra toiletries available.

Relax on the porch with a beverage or prepare dinner on the gas grill while enjoying views of Paradise Divide, Mt. Crested Butte and Town Park.

The duplex's shared backyard is fenced and nicely landscaped with flowers and mature aspen trees, as well as a flagstone walkway & patio seating area for summertime visitors. Pet friendly...the large grassy area is perfect for our four-legged visitors!

There is off street parking in the gravel driveway as well as parking in front of the house, although a vehicle is unnecessary since everything in town is within walking distance and the shuttle (two blocks from house) will take you up to the Mt. Crested Butte base area.

Great property to get away for a long weekend! The house is in a good location. You can walk to town if you like. The property owner answers quickly if you have issues. Would definitely recommend if you have pets. :)

We stayed at this property for a long ski weekend with two dogs and a 1 year old. It was very well stocked and the beds were comfortable. It’s a three block walk to the ski bus stop and the beginning of downtown. Very quaint neighborhood, quiet, dog-friendly. We would definitely go back!

Clean, beautiful, peacefully perfect for me and my 2 grown children to share a time together in a place i've known since i was a child in the 1960s. I love the blue-glass stairs and all the other unique qualities of this charming duplex. We 3 highly recommend this Crested Butte Treasure to any and all who wish for a place of beauty and peace. The location could not be better! Short walk to the transportation center and downtown. Spacious living area with everything you need. Big back yard with a nice seating area. There are some quirks with this property that require a bit of patience. The door keypad, light switches, grill, burners on the stove, heat...work, but not as necessarily as expected or all the time. That being said, Erin is exceptionally responsive!

Firstly, the location is one of the best! Close and in walking distance to everything. The host was also super responsive, helpful and very accommodating with some last minute schedule changes, which we greatly appreciated. My only piece of feedback is that the second bathroom is upstairs right off the kitchen/living room so not a lot of privacy. That being said, this was clearly called out in the listing so if that doesn't bother you, great. Additionally, one bed is definitely smaller than a queen. We measured because my husband is 6'4" and we can't fit in anything smaller than a queen so ended up swapping rooms with our other guests. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and the location really can't be beat.

My family has enjoyed an annual vacation in Crested Butte, usually around the Fourth of July holiday. However, this year we had to change our normal date, due to the kids’ summer sports. Even so, there was no lack of fun and things to do at this great location. The townhouse is roomy and easily accommodated our group of 6 plus a dog. Great backyard with sitting area and fire pit for relaxing with evening cocktail.

Location was great! So easy to catch the bus up to the mountain. This place was really cute but a bit small for my family of 5. My biggest issue was the front door was really tricky to lock and unlock and my kids couldn’t lock the bathroom doors (saloon style) since the lock was at the top.

Terrific location 2 blocks from the 4-way stop visitor center where the ski bus picks up, and easy walk into downtown. The home was comfortable, cozy and well equipped. Kitchen had everything you need for a few days. Under cabinet fridges (one regular fridge / one wine/beverage fridge) and freezer was very adequate for 3 of us for breakfast and lunch foods for the course of a few days. Smart TV so we could watch movies from our Apps. Lots of games and books to use.
