Steps to the Pacific Ocean! Fully Remodeled...

Close to surf, sand, and more! You will find walking trails steps outside of your room. Beautifully positioned next to everything you need for your stay. You will find two grocery stores and many dining options all within a 1/2 mile radius. This condo has been fully renovated! You will find a beautiful new kitchen with all of the needs to prepare meals as well a 4 person table. There is one queen size bed and a twin size bunk bed to fit 4 people; recommended two adults and two kids for maximum comfortability. Wonderful location, easy to walk to everything, or a 20 minute drive and you're in the redwoods or tide pooling at the beach! Brandi and Raul were wonderful hosts. Walkable to everything. Amazingly equipped kitchen. We stayed for six weeks and were very pleased. Such a delightful visit, thank you.

The space was clean and served our needs. "Steps to the Pacific Ocean" is rather misleading. It's at least a three-block walk and the beach looks nothing like it does in the featured photo. The building is on an ugly street corner near a freeway overpass, with a significant number of people wandering around who seem to be on drugs. Passed more than one sketchy RV on the way to the beach. I didn't feel entirely safe walking around after dark with my kids.

Everything was just as the pictures. A regular chair would have made watching football on tv a lil better, the bed to sit on was ok. Very clean! Had shampoo/cond/body wash in the shower already. & even had qtips & round puffs to wash your face. I didnt use the laundry room but it was nice & clean.

Great location and very clean rental. There was a slight odor in the unit, which may not bother most people — I’m just very sensitive to smells, and I think it might’ve come from the restaurant below. The bed was extremely comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep.The only challenge was the narrow staircase leading up to the unit. It wouldn’t be an issue for light travelers, but I had a lot of luggage since my next stop was for a month, so it took a few trips to get everything upstairs.

You can tell the host has done this before. Before our arrival, we had all information in hand once we got there. We didn't need to ask for anything - there were extra towels, everything clean, supplies were provided.Great experience. As for the location, it is super convenient as a couple of eating places are a short walk away, the surf shop's downstairs if you want to browse, and the harbor is across the street. Plenty of parking. This is a multi unit rental, and we don't think there were any other tenants during our stay, or at the least there was only 1 there. I have a feeling that walls may be a bit thin. That's just a guess though. Great rental, definitely recommend.

Just a few blocks from restaurants and 3 grocery stores. In the same block as Redwoods HQ for asking questions. Close to Redwoods for scenic drives and hiking. Owner emailed ideas about things to do in the area. I was a little unsure about parking and access but it worked out fine. Street parking is on 2nd Street, it was never crowded. Door to units is on Hwy 101 side.

We really enjoyed staying here, would definitely come back. Location was perfect for beaches and the Redwoods. There is literally no view from the windows and it got a bit hot but compared to the pros those are nit picking. Loved the area and the apartment :)

Perfect in every way

The entire space was exactly as described in the listing. The property is just a few blocks from the beach where we explored low tide, the park, and walked to dinner. It was easy to navigate, I greatly appreciate the secure entry and room.

Great Stay

We only stayed one night, but we loved the place! Would definitely stay here again. The place was clean, had everything we needed. The communal "living area" outside of the room itself was cool. It was great to have laundry. It would be a great place to have a few families traveling together stay in the same location, but have separate spaces.

Crescent City

Very clean, well stocked, easy check-in, great location for touring Redwoods and seeing coast. Trails very near the unit that are some of the most beautiful we saw are Boy Scout Trail, Grove of the Titans and Stout Grove. Town is aged and there is a significant homeless population to be aware of however the double security to get into the unit was reassuring. The lighthouse, elk and sea lions were fantastic. Two great places we enjoyed for eating were SeaQuake Brewing and SeaFront Bakery (both very clean, up-to-date in food offering and wonderfully friendly staff).

Great Redwoods HQ

Such a great place to have as our headquarters to explore the Redwoods. The beds were comfortable. Our daughter loved the bunk bed. We all appreciated having an inviting shower, kitchenette and sofa after hiking.Crescent City is a California town and has the great and not so great qualities of the state. However, I love how hard the town is trying to adapt to the current and future economies. In other words, focus on the entrepreneurial spirit. You'll love it here. (Try the Thai restaurant. It's awesome.)

Proposal trip!

It was a great place to stay! It was nearby grocery stores and restaurants which was nice, and we could walk right over to the beach! We were mainly there to go see the redwood forest where I planned to propose! She said yes! It was an amazing trip, and this was a short drive from all the places we wanted to go.
