Picturesque forest homes

Just minutes north of Crescent City, nestled on 5 lush acres surrounded by a picturesque forest of tall redwood trees that showcase a beautiful new, non smoking,2250 sq. ft., 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home, with a 3 car garage with electronic door openers. The fully equipped kitchen which opens onto the dining and great room has tile floors, granite countertops, a double oven (convection option also), gas range, and side-by-side refrigerator. The double stainless steel sink and dishwasher are housed on a separate island that offers seating for entertaining. The utility room includes a pantry along with extra counter space, and is located directly off the kitchen where a washer & dryer are available for use.

The Great room includes sectional with 3 electric reclines, and a love seat to relax on while watching TV, relaxing with a book,or enjoying the comfort and warmth from the freestanding wood stove. The French doors open onto a nice covered patio where guests can enjoy the quiet beauty, and surroundings.

The four bedrooms offer plenty of storage. Located between two of the bedrooms is a Jack & Jill bathroom with their own separate sink and medicine cabinets. The shower is also separate from both the lavatory and sinks. The master suite has a TV, and sliding glass door that open onto the back patio. Included in the master bath is a large glass enclosed shower w/seat, a soaking tub, and two separate sinks. Grocery stores: Fort Dick Market 1/4 mile, Safeway and Walmart super store in town (10 miles),and Fred Meyers in Brooking (20 miles north on 101).

Sleeps 9 plus small child, Rate fee is for the first 8 people. Additional fee of $25, per person per night. (Will accommodate 12 people, with 2 king size mattresses in garage)

Yes was very comfee. There was alot of pet hair in the front recliners. It was pet friendly but we left our pets home this time. We were a group of quilters so the lighting could have been briter but we had enough lamps we made it work fine. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

The pictures don’t do it justice! I felt this was better than I expected. Plenty of room. We had 8 adults and one kid. The kitchen was well stocked. There was room for all of us to sit and eat together. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and close to crescent city. Don’t plan on using the grill. It’s seen better days.

Description of place was spot on. Something things could have been cleaner, fans were dusty and some other things. There was no kindle for fires. Overall the home was great though. Supplied lots of kitchen supplies and the beds were all cleans and neatly made. Very spacious and handicap accessible. Hot water supply was amazing.

The home is very beautiful in a very nice setting even though you’re in town it seems as though you’re out in the country, however, it doesn’t appear as though the housekeeper really does a good job at all, we had to go through and kill the spiders that were infesting with the rooms before we could utilize them. You would think that somebody would’ve made a walk-through before you had somebody book the property for a week long visit. The garage door openers were gone when we arrived. We tried to contact the property management and let them know that we couldn’t find them and we never heard back from them at all. It even looks as though the neighbors have rigged up a hose to the pump house and are stealing water from this property. The overall layout of the house is phenomenal. The master bedroom is great except for the mattress and box springs tub, and shower are fantastic and even though I understand, it’s in a wooded lot the exterior of the property is loaded with spiders and webs, and does not look like anybody has maintained it in quite a while. The back double door has issues in security as even when you try to shut the door continues to pop open so you have to use the deadbolt all the time and even then it’s flimsy. One of the things that we didn’t understand was that the prison was just located around the bend until we heard a loudspeakers going off and saw the guard towers the next day.

We loved the layout of the house with the master suite at one end, the bunkbed room right off the kitchen and then the other two bedrooms at the other end of house; sharing a bath – esp. the two sinks.The swing set and fire pit were marvelous….we spent our evenings outsideThere was enough sitting for everyone at dinner time and then to watch for the Oregon football game.It was excellent.

Our stay in Crescent City was comfortable and relaxing, and not too far from the grocery store, restaurants and gas stations, so that made it very convenient to see many of the places around town that we wanted to visit. The house was clean inside, with a well stocked kitchen, lots of bath towels and paper products. The exterior was inviting, and we managed to enjoy a very nice evening by the fire pit. The back yard porch area needed some dusting/cleaning, and was a bit unkept with old trash items on the table, but not terribly bad, considering the house is located out in the woods. We arrived at night, so it was difficult to find the house in the darkness, since no lights were left on for us. As a suggestion, perhaps the front porch light could be left on in the future when other guests are expected. That would make things easier to find and get into the house. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you for your hospitality and positive experience.

We had a great family get away, with grandparents down to great-grandkids! The house was spacious enough for all of us, clean, greatly stocked. Tucked away off the main road, and plenty of space for kids to be loud & run around. We loved how close it was to Kellogg Beach, & it wasn't super crowded. Mark was great about answering questions before the trip. We will definitely come back to this house for beach trips!

Nice vacation home

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is located close to Redwoods National Park, and the beach which was great for our large group. The home was clean and welcoming. The kitchen had everything you’d need to cook at home and a large living room for everyone to enjoy time together. We would definitely stay there if we were in the area in the future. The large covered patio was a delightful place to enjoy some coffee while enjoying the redwoods and birds. It truly was great. A couple of small things: We did not understand that the garage space was a literal garage with mattresses stacked along a wall that you could make up yourself to sleep on, but that was ok. Also, there was no shampoo, conditioner or paper towels, easily fixed by the near by Walmart. Again no big deal, but just wanted to save the next group an extra store trip.

Private and spacious

We stayedhere for a our family reunion. There was ample accommodations and location afforded privacy and backroad access to favorite beach, river, and hiking adventures. Plenty of kitchen space, nice gas stove and all appliances, horse shores, fire pit, and barbecue to enhance our family meals. Beds comfortable though the king could use a memory foam topper, a bit hard. Would stay again.
