New Vacation Rental in the Redwood Forest. We don't have any reviews yet but not to worry, it is being managed by a SuperHost and we are dedicated to providing you the best vacation ever! Newer 4 bedroom cabin. All new furnishings. Our back patio provides for a peaceful dinner with propane BBQ, dining table and chairs around the fire pit. Across from the pristine Smith River, a mile to Jed Smith Redwood Park. 15 min. drive to beach. Tucked away in a quiet section of the town of Hiouchi, just outside of Crescent City. Guests of this wonderful home will be able to enjoy close proximity to local restaurants (10-15 minute drive) and activities while still taking in the area's natural beauty. Grill up delicious meals on the spacious back patio while the kids run around exploring. It'll be easy to go from outdoors cooking to indoors prep, with the conveniently located full kitchen. The entire home is ground level, so no one will have to struggle with stairs inside. From the airy ambiance of high vaulted ceilings to the open layout of the kitchen and living areas, this home away will be the perfect place to entertain the whole family with ease.

Really nice place. Check in and out was seamless. Location was really close to the Redwoods and river beach, which we utilized. The backyard fire pit was awesome. Overall great experience.

The house was clean and had everything we needed to be able to cook meals at the property. It was so close to the spots we wanted to go. It had a hose connected outside so we could spray off our sandy feet and shoes before going inside. Check in and out instructions were clear and they gave good directions so we could find the lane quickly.

Beautiful home in the woods

We had the best stay at this house! The rental property was so kind and let us check in a little early..the house had everything we needed and more to make our stay feel like we were home! Bunk bed, toys and games for the kids, extra blankets in every room, a fully stocked kitchen supply with every pot, pan, utensil, paper products, and coffee! We made most of our meals at the house, which was super convenient while traveling with our 4 kids. The beds and furniture were so comfy, and the propane fire pit outside was perfect for sitting around while we sipped our coffee and read our bibles in the mornings! We will definitely be back next time we come to this area!!!

Great stay!

We had a great stay at Hiouchi Cove! We only planned a quick overnight stay but we will definitely go back! The house is isolated and extremely neat/clean. Very well equipped with lots of nice touches throughout the home. All of the beds were comfortable and easily housed our party of 7. Very cute place-well done!

Comfort minutes from the best forest

The hiochi cove is a gem! The beds were comfortable. The house was well stocked with anything a family could need but might forget while on vacation. Fully stocked kitchen to cook in. Very large step in shower with great water pressure and built in seating. This vacation rental was very disabled-friendly which was great as one family member is wheelchair bound. We look forward to staying here again.

AWESOME!! Clean, stocked, and in the middle of the Redwoods!

Can’t say enough about this little treasure. Perfect location, WICKED clean (spotless!!), and it has everything you might need. The bedrooms are a laid out a little bit oddly but in our case, it worked out PERFECTLY. We had a blast!!! We will be back.

Roomy & Quiet Cabin

Accommodated our group of 11 well. Was very clean and beds were comfy. The grill and fire pit were a plus. Our manager even went and got roasting sticks so we could do s’mores. Only thing that was a bit tricky for a group of our size was there was only one bathroom.

Hidden in Hiouchi

I was so excited to find this beautiful house in the forest just east of the Northern California coast in the redwoods. My wife and I and our four teen age children had more than enough room in this very clean and very modern house. We were only there for one night but could have stayed much longer. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. I have no complaints. The location off the highway initially caught us off guard as we arrived at night, but once we made the turnoff, we appreciated the location tucked into the forest. Thank you for allowing us to share your home.
