"The hotel, room, and staff were all good. The best part of this hotel was how calm and quiet our room was. We weren't the only people at the hotel, but perhaps we were the only ones on the third floor. I'm not sure, but either way I appreciated the peace and quiet. Now onto the bad part. This hotel must have previously been a smokers hotel, because the entire building reeks of tobacco smoke. You get used to it after a day or so, but if you can't acclimate to the smell then you seriously need to...

"Totally enjoyed this hotel. Very convenient and clean and secure. Got a room right next to end doors so very easy going and coming. Only issue was the people above us for the first couple nights. A child kept running and jumping around and heavy walking but stopped around midnight so could have been worse."

"It’s obvious the lack of competition for hotel chains is one of the reasons why this (and other properties) aren’t upgrading or even moderately maintaining their properties. While the staff were very nice, the hotel and rooms felt old, dated, threadbare and in need of renovation. Brown County is stunning … but its hotels leave a lot to be desired."

"My suite was very spacious and well designed, but I especially loved the surroundings. The grounds are beautiful and make an excellent place for a short walk. It also feels sheltered from the rest of the world--town is close, but it seems like you are far away in a pleasant little town."

The pool was closed and the elevator was not working, but we were given the option of a first floor room which we declined because we are able to climb stairs and other were aren't able deserve first floor rooms. Our room was clean and we opted out to have maid service the first morning as we had plenty of towels, soap, cups, etc ..but they were right there to help when needed. Honestly very friendly. "We stayed at the Showers Inn on June 15, 2026. We arrived late but they had a note how to access our room. The parking was adequate, always a concern at a B&B in a residential neighborhood. The room was pleasant and comfortable. In fact, we thought highly of the room accommodations. At breakfast the next morning was when our stay turned bad. We went to the main floor of the main building of the Inn. There wasn't any food to be had. Nor were there any employees to discuss the breakfast situation...

"Clean room that smelled good. It was quiet and comfortable. Staff was very pleasant."

"It was a nice stay with my kids. Used the indoor pool, , ate at the breakfast Buffett and enjoyed th cold drinks offered at the front desk. Parking was easy and on the property. The elevator stopped working around check out time. That cause a lot of people to wait. The scrambled eggs are gross and the the little pancakes are so hard. Otherwise everything else was edible."

"For the price i would bypass this one . Rooms are not updated . Walls are paperthin . People next to us and above us kept us up all night long . We had a room with a balcony The bathroom had a window that overlooked the people next to us balcony so at anytime they could look into our bathroom just had a flimsey old curtain to block the view Food was not worth the price paid yea totally bypass this one at all cost"

"I would not go back to this hotel. There was no shower gel. There was no shampoo. The shower floor was tile and very slippery. Our stay was two days and yet I never received the shower gel. I was given a canister of shampoo, but could not attach it to the wall in the shower. There was no soap dish in the shower, so I had to rest the shampoo and the soap on the floor. I went downstairs to the lobby for coffee and the urn was empty. Very disappointed."

"For a basic motel, the accommodations were as expected. Clean room, very basic amenities that were adequate. No bugs which is definitely a positive! For the cost we were satisfied."
