"Just an incredible time at the Norton House! Just an incredible comfortable bed with six pillows. Great breakfast, lunch dinner gourmet dinner available there on site and then to be able to walk the grounds and view the sheep go up by the woods and look down at the hotel. It was very nice. The spa facilities were top-notch. The receptionist were always available and friendly. I can’t say enough about the Norton."

"Location, location, location! This hotel’s location seriously can’t be beat. On the corner of the colorful Victoria Street and walking distance to the castle. The grassmarket is a lively area to visit with its pubs and shops.The view of the castle at night is remarkable. If you’re looking for quiet, peaceful nights, though, this might not be the location for you. "

"Good car parking facilities, register for free parking for your stay. Close to main roads. Reception area a little dark but very tidy. Friendly efficient person on desk, unfortunately she used swear words during conversation which isn’t very professional. Easy to find room. A little dark and dingy but spotlessly clean especially shower room and bed. Poor power in shower. Good facilities, dining room, bar area, breakfast. Fish and chip shop onsite. Food and drinks very good. Excellent breakfast...

"Clean, and in a great location with a 15 - 20 minute stroll to main attractions. I used this as a base when taking part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon and the location was great for strolling to the start area. The apartment itself is very well furnished with everything expected from a self catering apartment for up to a week. Despite being central Edinburgh it is still relatively expensive and additional fees for parking or late checkout bump the overall cost even more. The apartment itself...

"Het hotel zelf had een heel goede ligging! Het interieur was in orde! We misten wel een koelkastje op de kamer. Volgens de site kon je parkeren bij het hotel voor £18 per dag, maar de plekken waren allemaal bezet waardoor we de huurauto in een dure parking hebben moeten zetten. We kregen wel 20% korting, maar dan bleef het nog duur."
