Nestled in the peaceful hamlet of Orton, just a short drive from Fort Macleod, Prairie Rose Cottage offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This cozy retreat invites you to relax and recharge with thoughtfully curated amenities, including a private hot tub under Alberta’s big sky, a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, and a welcoming living space to unwind after a day of exploring. Whether you're seeking tranquillity or adventure, Prairie Rose Cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay. Here’s a glimpse of the amenities awaiting you at Prairie Rose Cottage:

The cabin is on our acreage about 100ft from the main house. You will have access to your own private patio and deck and have a dedicated parking spot on our large driveway. There are bikes available if you wish to bike our quiet country roads.

We live in the quiet hamlet of Orton, minutes away from Fort Macleod on paved roads. Our acreage is spacious with sweeping views of the prairies all the way to the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Enjoy walking and biking the quiet country roads or relaxing on the front porch, listening to birds and crickets and maybe catching a glimpse of a unique wildlife visitor or a gorgeous prairie sunset.

This cabin was very cozy and extremely clean. The hosts are very thoughtful in leaving a few complimentary snacks and souvenirs. A lot of love goes into providing an excellent customer experience. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing in the evening. A bit too windy to enjoy the fire pit area or the bicycles during my stay but still lovely

Lovely Prairie Getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Prairie Rose Cottage. Everything you need in one cozy little package, with so many special touches to make it feel a little more luxurious. Very peaceful setting, and within a fairly short drive to many of southern Alberta's tourist hot spots.

Thought of everything!

This is such an adorable property! The cottage has everything you could need as well as a hottub and firepit. Owner are kind enough to supply coffee and snacks as well...even a few fesh eggs! Such a well thought out set up. Peaceful, quiet and well-cared for. We loved it!

The property is beauty as you can see from the photos . It was very quiet and the hot tub area is very private. Communication with the owners was great.You are close to Fort Macleod if you require anything and we did do some shopping in town.We highly recommend this place.

Great tiny home

Cozy, comfortable, and featuring every possible amenity that could fit in a small space. This quiet cottage is perfect if you want to get away from the chaos of the city and enjoy great nights of sleep, a hot tub, or just binge watch your favorite show.
