"We stayed 5 nights in Paws-a-While - 3 adults, 2 teenagers and a dog. It was great. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating area with a nice big TV and the most brilliant decking area with uninterrupted views of the Solent. The main bedroom is a good size but the two other twin rooms.are quite small. So the place certainly lends itself to a family with younger kids, rather than a group of adults. "The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers."

"Check in was a little sketchy and the property had a few minor cosmetic issues. The location and view are excellent."

"Place was brilliant fun. Caravan was clean and spacious. Timmy at the entertainment was definitely what tipped it over. Kids loved him. We will be back. "

"Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean and loved the jacuzzi (which was set up and ready to go!) parking outside the house and visitor parking if you have more than 2 cars. The host was friendly, responsive and incredibly helpful. Would really recommend! Thanks for saving our new year!"

"Ian and Jill were excellent hosts for my husband and son who traveled from America for the funeral of my father-in-law. We were thankful to find such a lovely property so close to my in-laws in New Milton."

"We stayed at Byecross as a group of 10 with ages ranging from 9 to 77. Fabulous stay in a fabulous property with fabulous hosts. The Aga was fine to use and actually makes the best toast! If you are planning to stay at Byecross I would recommend doing a bit of research on how to use an Aga before arriving, and also plan to spend at least a couple of days at the property without going out anywhere as there really is so much to do and explore just on the property grounds and the surrounding area...
