Many attractions, good restaurants and close to stores. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Stop and Shop close to UConn 15 min drive. Feel at home in our furnished, fully equipped king suite, with full kitchen. Enjoy sleeping in with Blackout curtains. Indulge with the provided supplies for DIY breakfast. Fresh local cream, fresh eggs from our chickens, coffee, tea, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal…. Bring your own groceries and whip up a nice meal with the fully stocked kitchen. The “Get Away on Rock Farm” is perfect, conveniently located with easy access to highways, shopping, restaurants and more! Fully stocked kitchen w appliances, bath, open concept living space with 40” TV, Wi-Fi. Relax in a secluded, safe, quiet place tucked away in woods off the beaten path. Plenty of outdoor lighting. Parking just a few feet from the Suite door. Private entrance. Unique key code for door. Enjoy the solitude! (Not ADA handicapped compatable.)

All cotton bedding. The bathroom is fully equipped with makeup mirror, hair dryer, the little stuff … toiletries galore, nail file, makeup remover, hair spray, as well as shampoo, conditioner, body and hand soaps. Our Suite is completely sanitized and rests for 24 hrs between our guests.

This is not a handicapped accessible space.

Great Get Away!

My husband and I moved to Texas a few years ago but have family in that area. It was such a wonderful and cozy place to stay with absolutely everything you could be and then some! We were able to bring our pupper who had such a good time zoomie-ing all over the yard and walking through the trails right on site. Jeri really goes above and beyond to make this place someone special, we'll definitely be back!!!

Family visit

The Getaway was ideal for many reasons. The location was close to family, the place was neat and clean with everything you needed in the kitchen and bath thoughtfully available. The fresh eggs, cream, butter and maple syrup were delicious and a very nice touch.We highly recommend a stay here whenever you’re in the area.

Wonderful retreat - highly recommend!

Jeri’s home is wonderful. We had plenty of space for the three of us. The attention to detail in this rental will be our basis for comparison for any future trips. Should we find ourselves in a Connecticut again we would love to revisit this quiet, comfortable rental.

adorable spot with nice property

My pup and I stayed at this perfect little spot for a 3 night business trip. It is the middle of three apartments/suites within one building. There are 3+ acres to explore with the pup which they had snowplowed a perfect loop (although of course the pup wanted to go off the trail!). It was quiet and easy to find and park. The inside was perfectly accommodating. With a well stocked kitchen, every kitchen appliance and tool you may need and spices, teas, etc. The fireplace stove may have been fake but I kept it on all evening, enjoying the warm glow and heat! Having an "Alexa" was an added bonus with the convenience of home! There were thoughtful items included for the pup. Overall I very much enjoyed the stay and Jon and Jeri were attentive and communicative! Would definitely stay here again!

Everything we needed and more!

This place exceeded our expectations. My spouse and I stayed here with our dog for about 5 nights and we found it to be clean, beautiful, and well-stocked. It truly had everything we needed! I especially enjoyed the kitchen, which made everything from preparing snacks to cooking full meals easy. The fresh eggs and local cream made our stay feel very luxurious. I would highly recommend staying here—we would definitely come here again!

Most Wonderful Place and Hosts!

The home was spotless,in a quiet location and included more than we expected. The kitchen was fully equipped for my Thanksgiving cooking needs. The communication from the hosts was great and they were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to CT!

Cozy, comfortable, plenty of space and sleeping room for three adults. Everything that is stated on their web page is on site. The moment you open the door and enter .... you feel like you've died and gone to heaven. Smells good, spotless, beautifully decorated. I'd definitely give them 5 stars!!!

Warm and welcoming

Home is very clean and comfortable. Every detail is carefully thought out. We arrived after a long day of driving and were greeted with soothing music playing in the living area. Kitchen is fully furnished including a variety of coffees, tea, hot chocolate and soft drinks. We particularly enjoyed the farm fresh eggs, milk and maple syrup. Bedroom and bathroom linens were like new and very comfortable. Host Jeri is very friendly and provides lots of privacy. We will definitely return again for our next visit to CT!

The property was stylish, warm, and welcoming. Equipped with every thoughtful detail to make my stay stress free and enjoyable.
