"I’m really disappointed with our stay at Lakehouse Hotel and Resort. The issues started with the room itself. There was no way to cover three large windows, so the room was flooded with light as soon as the sun came up around 6:30am. The bathroom door did not close completely and had no lock. The beds and pillows are hard and lumpy. Parking was great but Safety was also a concern. The resort is not gated, which may be fine, but in our building the exterior door was left propped open all...

"The staff was really friendly and welcoming. I was able to check in early, which was nice. The parking was great and I liked that there were cameras in the lot it. Made me feel more secure. The room itself looked clean, but there were a few issues. I noticed tiny spiders in the bathroom, the toilet was a little loose from the floor, and there weren’t any blankets on the bed—only the fitted sheets. I actually had to go out and buy a blanket, which was unexpected. It was okay for a one night...

"The breakfast each morning was excellent and they opened the facility at 6:30 AM right on the dot. The front desk was extremely friendly and when my room wasn't quite ready they gave me a new room on the first floor Right away Plenty of parking and they're close to some good restaurants"

"Room was wonderful, clean very nice. However I spent couple nights away, when I came back, the stench of cigarette in bathroom was BAD! No cool if employees did that, we don’t smoke, so will I ever stay there? NO!"

"Fire alarm went off before 5:30 in the morning, but it was the lack of communication from the reception or any employees that was frustrating and scary. Do we evacuate, do we not? What do we do? Is it a false alarm? They didn’t know and were not communicating properly. Not even an apology later that morning or a discounted rate for the way they handled it. My kid is still scared that an alarm is going to go off while he’s sleeping."
