"Except for an elevator that needed repairs, this was a delightful property right on the beach. In the harbor area, I think it was one of only a few in Brookings that could claim they were on the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, had a lovely balcony with beach/ocean view. We left the slider open to hear the waves all night. It's a large property with 4 buildings, so the breakfast room was large and spacious with plentiful options. "Breakfast was delicious especially with their roasted sliced ham! The rest was typical, sausage and biscuits, eggs, waffles, etc. We were traveling with our dog and the large area in the back of the motel was perfect for walking him especially since there was also a trail to the beach which we walked at least once a day. Gorgeous sunset and a very friendly staff. The only negative was if you had a noisy guest in a room above you. We will definitely be back! "
