"Except for an elevator that needed repairs, this was a delightful property right on the beach. In the harbor area, I think it was one of only a few in Brookings that could claim they were on the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, had a lovely balcony with beach/ocean view. We left the slider open to hear the waves all night. It's a large property with 4 buildings, so the breakfast room was large and spacious with plentiful options. "The hotel was comfortable and attractive but the shower was fabulous. They have soft water, and it got nice and hot. Each of got to take a long, hot shower, which was lovely after a long drive drive. Afterward we got to sleep in comfortable beds."
