"A fantastic stay and what an experience! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here. Great friendly welcome and everyone here could not do enough for you. The room was amazing and had the best nights sleep. We had a complimentary soft drink mini bar which was a nice touch. Bathroom was amazing too. We didn't eat here in the evening as had lunch at Rick Steins in Padstow, however, really enjoyed breakfast. Really can't wait to stay here again. THANK YOU Bodmin Jail Hotel, we will be back....

"A last minute stay, room was outdated and in need of some TLC. Disappointed as no water on a hot day (27c) or biscuits or chocolate drink as this is usually the standard for most these days. I dont think the menu has changed much since we last visited. Love the area with plenty to do and see. "

"Lots of character but really well kept. Very comfortable with nice extra amenities in the room. Staff are great. Super food with fully stocked pub bar. Stayed in room above main pub and facing road but surprisingly quiet."

" We stayed at The Port William Friday and Saturday night in January. We choose this place due to its location to the coast and its positioning right at the side of Trebarwith Beach and the promise of a sea view and relaxing atmosphere. We were not disappointed! This is a lovely spot right on the SW Coast Path and only a few miles walk into Tintagel. The rooms were small but cosy and more than adequate for our stay.
