Great location for dining, shopping, entertainment and bus station. The room was comfortable enough but needed a good clean. Mould in the bathroom, dirty carpets that hadn't seen a vacuum for a long while (there was visible rubbish and bits and pieces on the floor). Very expensive for what was a low budget experience.

Hotel was conveniently located and easy to find with the directions from the hotel. There is not an elevator, which we knew about from the other reviews.

I’ve seen some awful reviews but if you want a clean bed & shower for a few days it’s ‘Spot On’ … out the door & into the craic on the doorstep!

About a block from bus station and on main shopping street so lots of shops. They send you the entry code before check in but I was already in transit so they should send at least 12 hours before. I ended up having to call when I was at the door. Room is very comfortable. Bathroom is very tight given style of building. Despite being on shopping street and above a bar it wasnt too noisy and easy to sleep. Train station is walkable with light luggage.

Firstly Expedia still lists as a B&B. THERE IS NO BREAKFAST! They appear to have changed the name on the website despite it being plastered everywhere at the location. On the plus side - Great location, very central - communication was great via Whatsapp prior to arrival and a key issue sorted straight away. All rooms are on 1st, 2nd or 3rd floor with no lift, so be aware if you can't manage stairs or have big bags. Probably not a good location if you have a car. Room was OK. Super comfy bed made up however shower pressure is laughable and I couldn't turn off the bathroom light which I noticed had been raised by another reviewer weeks ago (same room 7). It is just rooms above a pub. I had no issue with noise and liked its charm but it is not a hotel! I would stay again.

Great location, affordable

As others have stated, great location and adequate accommodations at a reasonable price. Contrary to other reviews, we felt it was quiet in spite of live music downstairs. I would have rated it higher, but my wife was very concerned about the cleanliness of the room, especially the carpets.

Property has a very convenient location. Was given clear instructions before arrival. Bed comfortable. Carpet was dirty and needs replacing though and shower had very low pressure,

B&b without breakfast. Claimed 24 hour reception and staff and never saw a soul. WiFi did not work. Room was super dirty. Light fixtures have not been cleaned in years. Locals at the pub called it the dungeon. My son had a serious allergic reaction to the dust and mold. I can’t believe this is still on Expedia. Towels were gross. Good location but that is the only positive.

The bed was soooo soft! I was able to stay an extra day so I didn't have to lug my cases everwhere. I ran out of TP after that 1st day. The climb to the 3rd floor room 7 was painful. Light over sink stuck on.

Run away from Creedons - DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Our room was very dirty, the carpet was stained, there were holes in the wall, electrical cords were exposed and dangling, and there was mold in the shower. There was no one on site to complain to - and NO REFUND WAS GIVEN. We stayed at another hotel. This place is a health hazard. And no parking near the location either. BOOK ELSEWHERE!!!

Ankomst var let og gik igennem Whatsapp, og stedet er let at finde vi kom allerede ind kl. 12:30. Værelset lå på 3 sal, lang vej op med tunge kufferter. Ikke særlig stort værelse med en 3/4 seng der havde været ny for længe siden. Næsten ikke noget vand tryk på bruser, og meget støj fra gaden ligesom det var meget lydt.B/B er for os inklusive morgenmad hvilket det ikke var her. Skal man kun overnatte en enkelt nat kan det gå.

Pas de petit-déjeuner alors que c'est un B&B, avec présentation du petit-déjeuner sur le site. Bruit du pub en dessous. Allées et venues incessantes dans le bâtiment. Odeurs de cigarettes qui remontent de la rue ou du pub. Dommage car le monsieur de la réception est très sympathique.

No breakkfast yet their web page still advertising it. No kettle in room for making tea/,coffee.musty smell when you enter building.No one there to welcome you..Collect your key from a key box and leave in abox when departing.TV in room not working €142.00 per night..DISGRACEFUL !!!

The good: Great location. Close to Old Town Shandon, great restaurants within a block, and close to English Market. Walkable city. The bad: Peeling plaster, mold in the shower, old towels, and slow as molasses internet (frustrating.). Very warm on the 4th floor. Also, there is NO breakfast. I realize it’s not exactly false advertising because the description does not say it’s included but ALL the pictures show a breakfast. It’s misleading. This is not a B&B. We will never stay here again. It makes me wonder whether they’re a slum lord. They never use their money to fix up the place.

The Hotel didnt feel clean, it was small and hot. We couldnt open the window and street is busy so it's a bit noisy. It is very well located within walking distance from everything, there's a city parking lot nearby and they offer discounts to the hotels nearby. Although B&B there's no breakfast.

Over-priced and disappointing

For the price of £112 I would expect a much better standard. I booked a double but instead had a twin room! There was nobody to discuss this with. The room was hot and a bit smelly (which turned out to be mould in the bathroom). Whilst the bedding was clean there was a worse-than-tired feel about the entire premises. The mattress was ok by the bed frame moved about even when I coughed. I am 6’3” tall and not small by any means but I am fit and able but I struggled to move in the shower as it was tiny. The water pressure was non-existent and by far the worst I have EVER experienced. I stay in around 2 hotels each week and have done so for the last 25 years… so this is some achievement! The lights in the bathroom weren’t working properly and there were no tea making facilities in the room. Just a bottle of warm and cloudy water with a dirty glass! The location was exceptionally noisy. Bar below didn’t stop being noisy until midnight then at 3:30pm there seemed to be a continual stream of bleeping lorries, bin emptying and general city centre noise. Even with the window closed (remember the mould smell) the noise was unbearable. I think I slept for about 2 hours all night. Shocking and will not be back!

Excellent situation, but if you're in rooms 5,6,7 you have 47 steps to get there, not that easy with a heavy suitcase. No fire escape which is a little worrying, or if there is one no signs to where it is. The wi-fi signal in room 6 was poor, had a better reception from the pizza place across the road. Reception is via WhatsApp, never saw anybody else in the 4 days we were there, except for a cleaner who knocked on the door on our first morning, we asked if she could come back in 5 minutes, but never saw her again. There is a shower and a sink (room 6) but we weren't over keen on using the shower. But it is what it is. If you don't expect much, you won't be disappointed. On the bright side it is ideally situated for Cork's best bits
