"The room was spotless. The amenities were amazing. The restaurant was wonderfully balanced. The staff was very polite and courteous. Bellhop was hilarious helpful friendly I have nothing but good to say about him."

"Our room was very spacious and very clean. I have stayed here before and really love this hotel. We ate in the restaurant where there was one choice - a pork sandwich and fries. The sandwich was inedible. And, the poor waitress was working alone so we didn't get our drinks until we had eaten a few of of our fries and were ready to leave. We will skip the restaurant next visit. But, we love the hotel!"

"In short: All the items 10 over 10. Emplacement in the social knott of the city, garage, price, breakfast...The only inconvent is that the comfort of the beds retains you in horizontal, making almost impossible to get the fantastic breakfast. 😉"

"The room was comfortable and clean. Wish the bar stayed open later for an after concert night cap, it was closed at 11 when we came back from Englert. Can’t beat this hotels location for its proximity to Englert and good restaurants in downtown Iowa City. Easy close parking ramp also. "
