"I love the hardwood floors, doors&windows, and creaky stairway to the guestrooms. The rooms are meticulously appointed and each has a walkout to the veranda. This lodge is only 2-3 mins. walking to Gordon's Bay beach! The staff - Manager Sonja and her helpers Cynthia and Kudzai, could not possibly have been sweeter. And dear me!... The home-cooked breakfasts, including eggs, cereals, toast&butter and marmelaides, as well as coffee, tea and fruit juice... make for a perfect way to start the day...

"firstly communication was not clear because when I get the guesthouse the person who was assisting me told me that I'm supposed to be in Strand but the direction that I got was for Somerset. "What a gem! Andrew and Charmaine are wonderful hosts, so friendly, and helpful with tips about restaurants in the area, and more. The guesthouse is wonderful. The furnishings, fixtures and fittings are modern and functional. The bed was comfy. The room amenities included a safe, small fridge, AC, TV and coffee/tea station. The bathroom was well appointed. "Basic accommodations, didnt look like the photos. Less of a hotel bit like staying in someone house. Mold around shower and ok room for a quick overnight stay. 20 min walk to restaurants though. Bed comfy. "
