"We liked the space that the apartment had and the location of the property. The apartment was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed including the kitchen area. We also liked the garden at the back of the property. We will book again when we come back to Ulverston."

Pub was not open Sunday evening, so we didn't get to eat here, but heard that the food is very good. No breakfast in morning, but lots of options in Cartmel so wasn't an issue. Would recommend."

The room was amazing, clean and spacious - everything that we needed was there and more, great night sleep - bed was really comfortable. The bar area was amazing. "Quaint old Inn. Badly let down by standards of cleanliness & maintenance. Dangerous broken toilet seat in bathroom. Also more disturbingly a used disposable razor from a previous guest in the same bathroom. The bedroom carpet was filthy, it even had plastic tags from clothes on the floor. Obviously had not been cleaned properly in weeks/months. Luckily another guest was a no show so we moved room. This new room was not any better for cleanliness but at least the toilet seat was intact. That was...
