Central location which was great. Also budget friendly. However I stayed on a Saturday night and didn’t realise there was a nightclub(s) so close to the rooms. It was very loud! I’m a heavy sleeper so eventually got to sleep but if your not, stay clear of this one!

This was my first time back to this great hotel in nine years, and the team and the hotel are both terrific. What really lets this place down is the lighting controls in the room. They are impossible to operate. My brother who is an engineer dropped by to pick me up, and offered to show me how to use the lights – and even he admitted defeat. On checkout, the agent at the desk admitted they had numerous complaints about it. So in the room you’re either in pitch black, or full blazing light. There is nothing in between. I would definitely stay here again, but would suggest the staff run lectures on how to use the lights. And even the need to do that is ridiculous.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly and efficient. The room is well appointed and spacious, although the electric blind button only worked sporadically. The room service food was just about ok, it arrived warm, not hot and the rice was undercooked.

The room was well presented and clean. It was a superior room overlooking Lonsdale St - well worth it.
