"Despite the lack of a typical front desk, I found the employees to be very responsive. I was in touch by email before the stay and then by phone. They were also very welcoming and helpful in person during their working hours. There was a screw-up with my multi-room reservation which appeared to be the fault of the booking site and not Micro Boutique. "Close to Halifax but in a quieter area with a nice view. Room was clean and nice with a cool skylight. Decent internet connection. You can chrome cast to the tv which is also nice. Cleanest bathroom I’ve seen anywhere I’ve stayed in a long time. Liked having a kitchenette in the room and large fridge. In walking distance to some good local restaurants and activities. Tim’s, gas, pharmacy right a cross the road. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Halifax. "

"Don’t let the facade fool you. The building looks dated but when you walk through the doors it’s a whole new experience. The lobby has been renovated and the staff was welcoming. Our room was very clean and had also been renovated. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is not a hot breakfast but there are options available."
