We originally booked the Apple Cottage (what we did notice in our short time there was a hair in the fridge, a musty smell when you walked in as well as the front door being hard close) which we ended up not staying in due to our son being able to unexpectedly stay with us so we needed a two bedroom which Jessica and Lee were kind enough to move us to last minute. We truly appreciated that. We then moved to their property called the Acorn. The communication with Lee and Jessica was good. We had issues with the house getting hot during the heat of the day and let Jessica and Lee know unfortunately it was the weekend so it wasn’t able to be attended to but thankfully the outside temps cooled down due to rain and so the house only got to 75 for a short time. The beds were fine but I did end up washing all the sheets and towels because of hair being on them (all but one towel had hair on them and that’s just a pet peeve of mine and spots on the sheets that I wanted to be sure were stays and bit something on the bed. Only bath towels and wash cloths were supplied for the bathrooms - it would have been nice to have a hand towel for washing hands at the sink. Also, would be nice to have a couple dish towels in kitchen as well as an oven mitt for cooking. Dishwasher and washing machine are fairly loud so you won’t want to use them while watching TV. This place was fine for a stay if you’re looking to have a clean place to sleep, eat and shower. The hosts were great!
