Viatges a Columbus Grove

One of the worse places we ever stayed in. Hot water did not work in the bathtub. Then the manager forgot to tell maintenance (outside contactor I am sure, maybe from a local seedy establishment ) so they let us use another room with working hot water the next day that was not rented. My wife tripped and her hand hit the old room door latch mount, that should have been removed long ago. I use to do safety audits at my old job and this place has many issues that I can see, including electrical. I wonder if Super8 is just now being drained of resources to maximize payouts at the top. I remember when this chain use to be much better. We tried to get a partial refund but we're told they could not do that because of booking through a third party.

The first night I got in at 2:00a because my flight was delayed and there was no place to park. I finally took one of the three empty handicapped spots. The picture on this page is deceptive. Maybe 20 years old. That couch is dirty and sunken. The floors and stairs never get vacuumed or cleaned. The first room they checked me in to was not cleaned and it was disgustingly dirty with pubic hair all over the bathroom floor, a dirty toilet and shower and thick plaster dust all over the bathroom counter! The beds looked freshly changed and clean so because it was now 3:00a I just crashed. They moved me to a clean room the next morning. I was doubtful but it was actually super nice...just stinky like new carpet and plaster soup. The bed and pillows were nice. The coffee here is quite good too. I was not happy that the pool was closed for renovation! Nowhere in their online info or through the booking agency did it say that the pool wouldn't be in use. The front desk girl that I complained to about my room was awful. No customer service training , or compassion. I won't be booking here ever again.

It was clean and put together and breakfast was nice
