  • Location, location! This beautiful, updated 2-bedroom turn-of-the-century house is located in downtown Colorado Springs with excellent access to I-25 and near abundant parks, shopping, and dining establishments. SODO restaurant row is a 2-block walk, Weidner Field Stadium is 2 blocks, the US Olympic Museum is 4 blocks, and the free shuttle is 2 blocks.

    There is a fully fenced yard, hardwood floors, and ceramic tile. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, spices, and other food and cooking items. For your convenience, you will find toiletries in the bathroom, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, Q-tips, a hairdryer, etc. There are also additional linens, towels, and blankets. The backyard has a gas grill and outdoor seating for barbecues.

    The immediate neighborhood is friendly and consists of other homeowners. Shugga's, a Seattle-style coffee/wine bar, is 1 block east, and then 1- 1/2 blocks further are The Coffee Exchange, Streetcar 520, Atomic Cowboy, Dos Santos, and Coati, which is a new gathering place with many restaurants and breweries all under one roof. The Warehouse Restaurant and Gallery, a long-time local favorite, is just three blocks north.
    Also nearby are the Pike Peak Center (7 blocks), Colorado College, Fine Arts Center, National Firefighters Memorial, and plenty of restaurants, breweries, and retail shops.
    The city has plenty of bike and scooter rental stations nearby, and easy to access our miles and miles of bike lanes!

    Just minutes away are the 5-star Broadmoor Resort, Garden of the Gods, Helen Hunt Falls, Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, and the Colorado Springs Airport.

    This updated, remodeled Victorian house will give you the comfort of your own home with the convenience of being located in the center of EVERYTHING Colorado has to offer and the activities you are seeking to enjoy.

    Dogs are welcome with an additional $75 pet fee per pet, and the yard is fully fenced. Sorry, although I love them, I can not accept cats as my husband is highly allergic.

We were very pleased with the rental. Everything was as advertised. The area is quiet but close to a number of restaurants. The house had everything we needed with the kitchen stocked with the kind of sundries one forgets to buy.

Second VRBO stay

The property description was just as described and the location was great as it was within walking distance to quite a few dining establishments. Our stay was during the 4th of July holiday and the neighborhood was still fairly peaceful even during the festivities being held at Weidner Field.

Just perfect! Such a thoughtful Host. So well equipped, everything you need is in this bnb. An amazing location to walk to local bars and restaurants. Very well kept lawn for a dog friendly accommodation. The host is very accommodating to request. Overall a great stay!

Lori has been a great host. She is very responsive to all my questions and thoughtful…made sure to let us know where to park our car in case the weather called for hail.We loved the house! Very comfortable and cozy. Clean and well-kept…a great place to come back to after a long day. The location is fantastic. Walkable to many restaurants and close to many attractions. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Exceptional Stay

Thoughtfully and beautifully curated space. The fenced-in yard is lovely and offers a secure area for pets and for relaxing with family. Ideal location for walking to nearby eateries & entertainments. Friendly neighbors, awesome vibe. Lori is a wonderful and easily accessible host. a welcoming cottage

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied with cookware and utensils. We appreciated the recommended local restaurants listed on the chalk board, and that we were within walking distance of an excellent grocery store. Also, we were so happy we could bring my daughter's dog with us. He was quite happy there.

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful home, right near downtown with many activities to do! Lori was extremely helpful and considerate of our stay! Garden of the Gods is just about a ten minute drive away and pikes peak was just over an hour away for the nature lovers! Amazing stay!
