Awesome, quiet, beautiful apartment

This is a very clean, very well equipped, and beautifully decorated basement walkout apartment. We stayed here for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting, just minutes from amenities, and a short drive from Pike's Peak. Twice we were rewarded with Elk walking past our patio, just steps away from us! (Unfortunately we didn't have our phones ready to take pics). The bed was quite comfortable, and the cozy living room provided comfortable seating areas, and a good selection of family friendly movies. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, and provided a very private and quiet home away from home. We would definitely stay here again.

NICE LITTLE GET AWAY

Inside was nice. Didnt realize it was a basement with people staying above. Could hear water running and people walking around. Wasnt quite expecting that. Inside was nice. Property was located in a quiet neighborhood in close proximity to alot of attractions.

Perfect Quiet Spot

Quiet Spot for the perfect chill spot in paradise. Will probably rent next time im in town if its available. Instructions for everything on fridge with phone numbers in case of issues. Very Professional and chill.

Quiet and peaceful stay…

The property was just as advertised. It works well for a couple, and has pretty much everything you need. The bed was comfortable which of course contributes to a good night’s rest. Mark and Sandy were very nice and very prompt with responding to our questions. Unfortunately we were too on-the-go to enjoy the patio and peaceful backyard. We did have some visitors…a few deer that passed through. We’re always excited to see them as it’s quite normal in Colorado. This property served its purpose for us. We had a nice visit. Thank you Mark and Sandy!

This is a really comfortable 1-bedroom studio. Nicely decorated throughout, with a modern kitchen with all of the amenities needed. Comlete with a private patio where you can enjoy the cool mornings and occasional visits from hummingbirds and deer.

A peaceful place with wildlife right outside the door

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at this place. The hosts were very caring and accommodating. We enjoyed the bird life we saw around frequently, the precious deer who came through in the mornings/evenings, and a funny fox who jumped in & out of a tree as we were leaving. Everything was nice & well cared for.

Perfect location and very comfortable.

When we first arrived, we were a little concerned because of the high grass that needed mowing. However, we found our accommodations were exactly as advertised. We had everything we needed. It was clean, neat, bed was comfortable. Sandi responded immediately with suggestions of places to visit. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will request this location again when we return to the area.

Great Place to Hike! Woodland Park is awesome!

We really enjoy Woodland Park! Wow what a great place to hike! Our Rental in Woodland Park Was incredible, we had everything we needed big kitchen living and sleeping quarters were exceptional!! Little problem I would like to mention Smoke Alarm came on around 4:00 a m wow , that was scary, Right after the Heating Unit started up and the noise was unbearable, not sure why it made that noise? Thank you for this nice clean apartment hopefully we can visit again soon Nice talking to you Mrs DeHaven Greetings Heidi and Anton

Loved our stay. Rental was perfect for us. We especially enjoyed the quiet time outside at dusk. Watching the deer come into the yard and graze was awesome to watch. Great neighborhood as well.

A Peaceful Haven

The property was lovely. Indoors was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we need in regard to appliances, etc... An outdoor patio was a perfect place to sit and watch the deer come into the yard. The owner was easily reached and extremely responsive. A spur of the moment need was met by Sandi with no hesitation. We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area.

Perfect Location

Great 1 bedroom 1 bath rental in the owner's basement. Located at the edge of town, it was very quiet with lots of wildlife roaming the area. The rental is perfect for staying in the mountains while seeing sites in the area like Pike's Peak and Manitou Springs and visiting Colorado Springs.

Vacation Hide-a-way

This one bedroom is located on the back lower level of the owners home with it's own private entrance. We spent several mornings and evenings sipping coffee on the back patio watching the deer that often came to the back yard to graze. The owners are both pleasant and responsive to any requests. We would go back there again.
