This beautiful core redeveloped Südstadtperle, old building from 1915, Wilhelminian style house, in a traffic-calmed 30 zone. Spacious 2 room apartment with high stucco ceilings, original floorboards, TV wall, large modern bathroom with washing machine and dryer, new modern kitchen with table and 5 seats. Stylish luxury full equipment. 2 TVs in the bedroom. The apartment is on the ground floor with shutters. Seating (for smokers) in the planted courtyard. Top location in the center of the essentials, 10 minutes at the cathedral or in the old town. Excellent connection by train and bus to (3 minutes on foot). Rheinauhafen and supermarkets cozy restaurants, bars shopping possibilities within walking distance ..

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, geräumig und gut gelegen. Die Garage hätte gerne vorher einmal sauber gemacht werden können und befindet sich sich auch nicht, wie beschrieben, auf dem Gelände. Es ist eine Terasse oder Patio beschrieben, wenn damit der Innenhof gemeint ist, in dem die Mülltonnen stehen, läd dieser nicht zum sitzen ein.

Eine sehr schön gelegene Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig mit einer schönen großen Küche. Die Schlafmöglichkeiten sind gut. Alles sehr sauber. Einige Kleinigkeiten sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnten mal erneuert werden (z.B. Zugseil beim Rolladen). Insgesamt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Wohnung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich eine Perle mitten in der Südstadt. Sie ist super ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Zur Begrüßung Kölsch und Wasser in den Kühlschrank zu stellen, ist eine wunderbare Geste. Die Kommunikation lief perfekt, Josef hat sehr schnell und freundlich auf Fragen geantwortet und sich sehr flexibel gezeigt. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür! Die Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe haben wir dankbar genutzt. Wir fanden die Wohnung noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos und die Lage ist wirklich kaum zu übertreffen - mitten im Geschehen. Toll! Wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser schoenen Wohnung. Bei der Hitze (30•) war es hier angenehm. Sie war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral in der Suedstadt. Josef war freundlich und gut erreichbar. Empfehlenswert

Great location and the apartment was nice. But they did not respond to my emails about parking and check in was at 4 and no one showed up to let us in until 4:30. We asked if we could check in at 3:30 and they said it was ok. We stood outside for over an hour. Also, the trash cans were not emptied. When I texted they apologized and gave us a bottle of wine.

Südstadtperle

Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Bildern zu sehen. Eine tolle Altbauwohnung neu renoviert. Dir direkte Umgebung ist ebenfalls sehr angenehm mit schönen Cafés, Restaurants, second Hand Läden und Kneipen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt mit zwei Kindern (5 und 9) sehr genossen.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Josef's place is in a great location and is very comfortable. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 and Josef was very responsive when we had questions. He welcomed us with beer and bottled water in the fridge which was much appreciated after traveling. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Cologne. Vielen dank!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Südstadtperle sehr genossen. Joseph super freundlich. Wohnung super ausgestattet und tolle Lage. Restaurants, Bäcker, Kneipen, Rhein alles flott zu erreichen. Wenn Köln nochmal auf dem Programm steht auf jeden Fall wieder die Südstadtperle.

Week long city break

Stayed in cologne for a week visiting the city and surrounding area. Lovely region of Germany. The apartment is situated to the south a short tram ride (about 10 mins) from old town/Dom or about a 30 min walk along the river which is pleasant. The area around the apartment also has numerous nice bars and restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and well sized, good kitchen facilities and a huge tv in the living room. Host (Josef) was really helpful, let us check in early and very responsive to messages. There was a brief issue on our first day with WiFi which he resolved quickly. Also called by one day with a bottle of wine for us which was really kind, excellent host. Would certainly stay again if visiting the city.

Fantastic find

Great apartment, the photos don't do it justice. There is a private garage off location for leaving the car. It was a reasonable price agreed with the owner of the apartment.We were given instructions of how to find and access the apartment before we arrived and the owner came and said hello. He lives in the apartment next door.Location was brilliant in a vibrant suburb with all shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy etc in the neighbourhood.Apartment was more spacious than expected. Only criticism we have is the noise of people walking past late at night and rubbish collection early in the morning was disruptive. The shower and bath had mould on it which didn't look pleasant. In terms of getting about there's tram and Ubahn and bus stops at the end of road. Took about 20mins to get into the city centre. It's walkable too fif about similar length of time .ation

Amazing Clean Location in Südstadt

Youll find yourself immersed in the heart of Südstadt with grocery stores, cafés, bakeries, and local retailers within minutes of the apartment. Very transit friendly. The owner is easily reachable and friendly. Would stay again! Thank you!!

Tolle Wohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral mit guten Cafés und Restaurants in fußläufiger Umgebung. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Das Bett ist super bequem. Alles war sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great neighborhood

This is an excellent VRBO. The apartment is on the ground floor. It is well stocked with everything one would need. The kitchen has a fancy coffee maker and plenty of plates and utensils. It even has a dishwasher. The bed is comfy. The apartment is outside the city center, but close to an s-bahn stop. The Cologne transit system is easy to navigate and quickly reach any spot in the city. We really enjoyed our stay.

Tolle Lage und zuvorkommender Vermieter

Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen und uns wohlgefühlt. Die für uns gute Lage war perfekt, um Köln etwas kennen zu lernen. Der nette Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr hilfreich. Leider war die Zeit für uns zu kurz, dass nächste Mal bleiben wir gerne länger und nicht nur für ein paar Tage. Was FeWo betrifft, wir mussten vorab unsere Hunde komplett bezahlen, die aber dann leider nicht mitkommen konnten und wir konnten bisher keine Erstattung einreichen. Vielen Dank
