"After a long journey from Devon, we were met with a warm welcome at reception with keys and directions to Pheasant Lodge. The grounds we viewed as we headed in were immaculately kept with a large lake/pond with good fishing platforms in place. Brent geese and ducks had already moved in. A good play area, with some distance from the first lodge, looked safe and well maintained. "Nice standard aparthotel with basic cooking facilities, including a two ring hob and microwave that did much more if you have the know how. Dishwasher but only one tablet! Parking needs visit to Reception and very tight small spaces underground. Well located for centre. Free coffee and tea in tap along with breakfast croissants."

"Absolutely perfect for a weekend break- room and facilities spotless, and location is right in the middle of the city minutes from Hockley and great food/bars. Check-in online takes a few minutes and then you’re sent an electronic code to access property. Will definitely be returning. "

"The room was spacious, and provides was a complimentary breakfast and beverages to drink. The ensuite is a nice large size. Car parking can be a bit of a squeeze if there are guests with cars staying in all of the flats. There was good friendly communication with the owner most of the time. The WiFi was working, but for some reason not the smart TV. Maybe a previous guest messed it up. The house is on a good bus route, with a stop across the road and regular buses into Derby city...

"I've stayed at Old Silk Appartments twice so far in apartments 8 and 9. Both I found spotless, white soft towels, comfy beds, tastefully decorated well maintained and adequately appointed. Large fridge freezer, 4 ring hob oven and microwave, basic set of kitchen utensils and a couple of pans adequate to cook something simple.
