"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"We had a wonderful stay at the Cortoon Inn! Orla was incredibly accommodating and the Inn itself was warm, nicely decorated, and clean. You can tell a lot of love has gone into this place! The room was spacious, and we had a lovely wibdow overlooking the church next door. The shared facilities (kitchen, bathrooms) were all very well kept as well. The attached was another big win. "Mind-blowing, fairytale experience. We felt like we were back in time. Barry, the owner, greeted us and toured the castle with us (via) livestream upon arrival. This was a trip of a lifetime. Thank you so much Barry! Note: We would not recommend this castle for anyone who has physical challenges because winding steps are narrow at different points. Otherwise, it was phenomenal!!!"
