This lovely contemporary home with modern furnishings is the ultimate spot to enjoy Clear Lake. The perfect place for large families, re-unions, or groups of friends, Sunset Beach House welcomes you with a spacious great room for socializing. A Private BOAT DOCK WITH LOCKED GATE and huge covered sitting area, shared with Sunset Beach Cottage.
The property is located on a quiet road along the shore, with a private 100 foot beach and pier, and is nestled in the heart of Lake County wine country. Beautiful and private large corner lot with no neighbors on 3 sides. Lots of room to spread out in the backyard, horseshoe area, front yard with hammock and nice seating areas under large bay trees. GREAT fishing from #1 rated Bass Lake! New: We have a dedicated charger for electric cars, beautiful gas fireplace on stone wall, new media center with wall mount 50 in. smart HDTV, great sound bar.
Home is equipped with a Generac GENERATOR -don't worry about power outages your vacation!
There is a large oversized yard surrounded by lovely Oak and Bay Laurel trees, hammock, fire pit on the beach and in backyard for marshmallow roasting/smores, private hot tub, canoe, 1 person kayak and lighted horseshoe pits. Lots of activities for kids-tire swing, inner tubes, games, horse shoes, hot tub and more. There is a large outdoor grill too!
The backyard has been nicely landscaped with new lighting and a large seating/dining area with additional seating around a separate firepit area. Its beautiful at night with a fire and the lit garden and a beverage. Relax while the kids and adults roast marshmallows!
Nearby attractions include Robinson Rancheria Casino and Running Creek Casino, multiple wineries around the lake, great dining in Upper Lake at the Blue Wing Saloon and wine tasting at Shannon Ridge Winery. Keeling Park is a short distance away for launching your boat.
The property extends on both sides of Lakeshore Blvd. The house is on one side, and the lake on the other. The street is VERY quiet and marked 15Mph. We have a 200 foot pier and a sloping beach. There is plenty of room on the property for a boat trailer and multiple cars.
This 2300 sq. ft two story home features 3 bedrooms and a loft with three beds (sleeps 13), and 2 full bathrooms. All linens (blankets/pillows/sheets/towels) are upscale and included. Perfect great room and kitchen for entertaining. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook a festive dinner! Relax with a bubble bath in the beautiful jetted tub in the master bath or on the balcony viewing the lake. All you have to bring is your food, clothes, family and friends!
(Contact us for shorter stays between rentals during the summer for 2-4 nights and we will do our best to make it work.)
Beach and dock are for your exclusive use.

Pets welcome (fully fenced gravel backyard), NO SMOKING in house. Please note that Clear Lake is susceptible to algae close to shore during the late summer months. Free wifi. We are proud to be a green business using solar panels, on demand water heater and electric car outlet. Off season rates available.

Mother’s Day getaway

We had an amazing stay at this vacation rental! The home was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 12, yet it still felt cozy and homey. One of the highlights was the private dock, perfect for relaxing and fishing, which was plentiful! The kids had a blast with the canoe and life vests that were provided for swimming , we all enjoyed evenings around the fire pit on the private beach. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and made for some great, relaxing nights. This place truly had everything we needed for a fun and memorable getaway. We would absolutely return!

Fun at Clear Lake

We had a great time at Clear Lake. The dock was a lot of fun and a great place to swim, paddle board, canoe, and kayak. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed barbecuing and cooking over the campfire. The hot tub was very relaxing, too.

Property accurately described. Host was very responsive to request.

We gathered as a family of 11 for Christmas get together. The house was festive and adorned with full size Christmas tree and hot chocolate platter. There was plenty of comfortable space for all. Kitchen was well appointed. Even though we had rainy weather we were able to enjoy the beach, hot tub and outdoor areas. The host responded immediately to any inquiry we had! Thank you, Susan and Jon

Perfect Lake House

This place has literally everything you can ask for when staying on Clearlake. So much space for a large family and for having others over for a BBQ. I asked my group what is one negative thing and they could not think of anything. We will be staying every year going forward this is our place. One major advantage is that the rental company for lake toys is right next door. We had the best time staying at this house. I have rented a lot of places over the years and this was by far the best one.

Best Waterfront Property on Clearlake

I have stayed in various properties on the Lake over the last few years. This was BY FAR the best one. Everything in the description is accurate or better. Impeccably clean, every you need, nice linens, plenty of towels, equipped kitchen, beautiful fenced back yard with fire pit. The dock was amazing and the mini-patio in the middle was a nice feature in the evenings. Host was very responsive when we wanted to extend our stay. I rate this property A+++! Close to grocery store, restaurants, Upper Lake cute town, close to several wineries. This would definitely be our target place to stay when we return. A cut above any other property!!!

Has it all!

We had a wonderful stay here over a stormy, rainy long weekend in February. The house is so comfortable, clean, and perfectly set up for a family that wants to be together but also likes some separate time. On a clear night, we had a fire in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. We enjoyed the hot tub. We fished off of the private pier and hung out on the covered patio on the pier. We day tripped to Clear Lake State Park and to a restaurant in Lakeport called On the Waterfront, which I recommend for food and winter tasting. We cooked at home and found the kitchen to be fully stocked and adequate. The view from the deck off of the master is lovely for a parent escape. Just an all around relaxing time.

Christmas Getaway

It was a great house for our Christmas vacation! We were welcomed by a tray of hot cocoa mix, candies & a bottle of wine! Susan did a great job decorating the house for Christmas! The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of room on the inside of the house & backyard was great for the dogs!

Sunset Beach House

My family and I had an absolutely fabulous stay at the Sunset Beach House. The direct access to the lake for swimming and fishing was perfect for water enthusiasts like my family. The property was immaculately clean, and its proximity to stores made it convenient for any last-minute needs. The hot tub and fire pit were delightful additions to our stay, adding that extra touch of relaxation and enjoyment. I would without a doubt choose to stay here again in the future. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Birthday weekend at the lake!

It was a beautiful property and very relaxing. We floated on the water, kayaked and fished. The only downside was the knats. They got into the house at night. But other than that it was a perfect weekend.

Family getaway

Hosts were the greatest, home was lovely with nearly everything you would need. Foos ball, horseshoes, barbecue, fire pits, private dock with chairs and tables, table games, close to water sport rental, My family all enjoyed it from 70 to 7 years, Great getaway!!

Amazing lakehouse

I absolutely recommend this lakehouse. A beautiful home and so extremely welcoming. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils... The backyard was great for hanging out & playing horseshoes. Although we didn't catch any fish there is plenty of space for fishing.

Exquisite, AAAAA+ Bar None best place in Clearlake

Through out our monthlong wait to move into our new home in Kelseyville, we stayed in the following pet friendly places, the Skylark, Blue Lakes Lodge, a nightmare AirB&B, the Famed Dome house and was hands down the last vacation rental we booked, Jon And Susan’s~ SUNSET BEACH HOUSE. Five Stars in every aspect, for those fortunate enough to get to spend time here, you’ll definitely understand why everything else is a far second in comparison. Jon and Susan were awesome and are the sweetest couple that catered far above and beyond our needs, and we’re readily available to take a call or give us great recommendations. THE SUNSET BEACH HOUSE is the epitome of thee perfect Family Vacation Home that leaves you knowing that your searching days are over. These dream hosts pulled out all the stops in this exquisite vacation rental. Our family and friends who came to visit we’re so amazed that they’ve already started setting up their own dates here knowing vacancies will be far and few between once the word gets out about this newly remodeled luxury home and the attention to every little detail. Combine all that with the amazing views and Sunsets and the fact that it’s only minutes in any direction for everything you’d ever need, you’ve found your own Shangri-La. Fantastic Stay!

Had a wonderful time with family at this vacation home. The fusball table and canoe were big hits with the kids. Wishing we could’ve stayed longer to visit one of the nearby wineries!
