You can climb Lone Cone. This is the rewarding view from the top. You can take a water taxi from Tofino. It's a strenuous hike, but well worth it. Be aware that after rain the track gets very muddy and there are a lot of obstacles along the way.

The room was spotless and the staff was excellent. Only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the Oceanside „hot” tub wasn’t warm enough to sit in in the evening. Our kids were so excited to use it, and we had to leave almost immediately :(

Amazing spot, as always. Accomodations nice, albeit a bit tired. Has been under rennovation for years. Staff were going through something and seemed overworked and/or tired. A few things not available, perhaps because not high season. Its list some of the charm it had 10 yrs ago.
