"2nd time at the Kissel. Overall the hotel is nice and clean. A smaller 7 floor hotel which I like with a restaurant in the lobby that has limited hours. "Excellent service and location. Gorgeous hotel. Good parking, although almost no spots on Friday 5pm. Had trouble with swiping my card in/out at parking gate, wish there was an attendent on duty - I paid extra to get out, twice, since the scanner didn't work, there were cars behind me and no way to turn around. Other than that, would definitely return."

"This was my first visit to the Berkeley City Club Hotel, and I absolutely fell in love with it. The building is a historic Berkeley landmark, beautifully preserved and refreshingly unspoiled. "Well maintained property, clean and attractive. Good quality furnishings. The large mini frig was a plus. HVAC worked well. Renovated bathroom was well done. Plenty of electrical outlets.
