"The lobby looks a bit warm even though the pics online don’t show that. The room was clean and looked a bit nicer than the lobby. Very few tables available to sit at for breakfast - we sat on couch on other side."

"The room was clean and adequately big, the breakfast was good and parking was free, The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too high for us. The AC unit was very noisy and didn’t run well. My husband cranked up the temperature, so the AC wouldn’t run so much and we could sleep. This, unfortunately, made me feel very hot and sweaty and I still couldn’t sleep much."

"Maryland Inn is an absolutely fantastic location, but that’s about the only positive I have for it. There’s quite a stench to the place from the time you walk in the front door. We had room 1301. It looks very nice in pictures, but it has the same odor as in the hallways, and the floor was insane with crazy sink holes. "Wanna check in I was initially placed in the room with a window that was blocked on the outside so no view. I called spoke with management. They quickly moved me to a room that gave me a view of the river, but not the beach."

"Sandaway is a gem; a truly special inn. Owner/operator Ben and his staff were attentive and truly exceptional. Our room oozed character and charm, and the facility was well maintained with fresh coats of paint and solid, aged wood doors and brass hardware. The lawn and beach were the ideal place to plunk one’s rear to gaze at the bay and contemplate life with friends and family. I highly recommend Sandaway!"

"Motel like. Outside access to rooms, curtains leave enough room look in unless you tuck them in the door. No parking due.to trucks and construction equipment using the back space. Noise outside constantly as people walk by. Location is sub par also. Will not make this mistake again with all of the other options. Bathroom light switch is on the outside, so late night trips wake up the masses. And the pool... don't do it."
