"The Motel 6 in Danvers Ma. was just off rte. 1 North but once in their parking lot you wouldn't know you were near a major highway -which was a good thing! I was able to check in an hour and a half early and got an upgrade to my room on the 1st floor. It was the 3rd of July and supposed to be a hot couple of days and I found the air conditioner on in my room - another good thing! "Arrived here around 11pm on the 3rd of July during a heat wave. There were a decent amount of cars in the parking lot so I thought it couldn't be as bad as it looks from the outside. WRONG I waited several minutes inside waiting to get my room. No big deal, til it was time to get the room. He tells me which room we are in and we carry our things past all of these rooms that are blowing HEAT right at you. The "hallways" are outside the building.
