We are a legal "Airbnb", with a 96% Five Star Rating!
Maintained Super Host Status every quarter since opening in 2016!
Our new studio apartment is close to Northern Kentucky riverfront (Newport on the Levee - 3 blocks), walk to downtown Cincinnati (15 minutes). A REDS game is a beautiful, easy, safe, 20-minute walk across the Ohio River.
Surrounded by great restaurants, nightlife, and family activities. Located at 634 Monmouth St., close to aquarium, stadiums, shopping. You’ll love the ambiance, the outdoors space, the lively neighborhood, the people! Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Seasonal Ghost Tours, as well as Gangster Tours will give you a historic perspective of this quaint town!
NEW: Ovation and Icon Music Centers, both within walking distance!
The Space:
The building is 120 years old. We have maintained the original character while modernizing amenities. This room #2 has a new King size bed, full kitchen and a beautiful subway tiled, walk-in shower.
Guest Access:
The entire apartment is for our guests, along with our rear deck and a complimentary laundry area. Not to mention a private parking lot! We are always a phone call away, but we are often below at our boutique, Urban Chick, and we only live 5 minutes away. As a guest, receive 20% off all purchases at Urban Chick Boutique! Also, a wine/bourbon bar has been added!!
Our goal is to make everything as convenient and easy as we possibly can for each and every guest!
Do Historic Newport right and experience all this little town with the big city has to offer. From nightlife to museums and cultural destinations to world-class eateries and sporting events, there won’t be a dull moment during your stay with us.
The neighborhood:
Close to restaurants, concerts, shopping and sporting events. Terri loves walking to the farmers market, shopping in the antique stores, and of course bourbon! Jeff loves all of the music venues within walking distance. We also enjoy walking the "East Row" and enjoying the 19th century architecture of the beautiful homes.
Getting around:
Private parking lot included. This unit includes parking for one car only! Park your car and then walk, ride bikes (Red Bike services), or use the Southbank Trolley.

Clean and Comfortable

We stayed two nights to attend a concert nearby. This was a great location with a good variety of food options and a short walk to the Newport riverfront. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive. Good value for the location.

Great location, quiet, safe and clean

We came to town so that I could run the Flying Pig Marathon and chose this property because of it's proximity to the event. Everything was perfect. It's a 20 minute walk to downtown and there are excellent eating and shopping options in Newport. Jeff communicated well and made sure we had everything we neede. I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely, Just Lovely

If asked, “How was your Vrbo?” I would say, “Lovely, just lovely.” The check-in was smooth, instructions were spot-on, parking was convenient, location was in the heart of Newport, within walking distance to good coffee shops & places to grab a bite, and the Vrbo was spacious, clean, and cozy. We ate at Sis’s & thoroughly enjoyed the live music, homestyle food, and our waitress. For breakfast, we walked the opposite direction and dined at Press, which had a different take on biscuits & gravy. It was good but not the “norm”. We enjoyed our 2 night getaway and will definitely return. The price was less than most hotels in the area and had lots of added extras, including a semi-private covered deck to sit on. Finally, the area seemed safe and the Vrbo was locked up & secure. Again, it was lovely, just lovely.

One night getaway

Our second time to stay in one of Jeff’s units. Easy to walk to Newport on the Levee and several restaurants. Units are always clean and cozy. Beds are comfortable. We really appreciated how well the air conditioning unit kept the room cool. Jeff is quick to communicate. No complaints and would definitely recommend.
