We arrived quite early and asked about early check-in, and the front desk kindly accommodated us, which we really appreciated. "Service was very friendly and helpful. The upgrade was appreciated and the fact that I could checkin earlier after a long flight. Location is great close to a bakery in what seems like a good neighborhood. Bed was comfortable , heater in the bathroom was great Z soap, conditioner and shampoo provided. Maybe the only thing I would change is not charge extra for laundry as it’s off putting."

"Please pay attention to the food and beverage credit from skipping daily housekeeping. It can only be used in the restaurant. I don't mind the credit after all. But It wasted my time trying to use it for drinks by the front desk, for which I was told by two staff members that I can use the credit. When I went for the drink, the third staff member refused to let me use the credit by showing me the smallest fine prints. I have nothing against the third staff member. Just hope the management would...

"The staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and professional, which made a real difference to our stay. Breakfast was fresh, with plenty of variety and more than enough to choose from. The room and bed were modern, clean, and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised overall and would highly recommend staying here. If there were a six-star rating, Sudima Christchurch City would absolutely deserve it."

"Old tired and very over priced. Mould in the bathrooms, rooms haven’t been renovated for 20+ years. For a great building with lots of potential the hotel is nothing but disappointing. On the positive side the public gym in the basement has a cold plunge pool. "

"Didn't have breakfast, but on checkout day I asked if we could overstay by half hour or more and she was friendly and said " sure " . Just a little bit more than required. It makes a difference!"

"Arrived two hours early for checkin , was aloud to check in early. Flight delays moved our flight and we were aloud to check out a little latter than usual. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. In room laundry was an unexpected surprise which was well used after a 12 days of campervaning around the sth island. "
