    This bright and cheerful home is tucked away on a private lane next to the historic Misty's Pony Farm. With a quiet location and a spacious screened back porch, this house is perfect if you want to relax in nature but still be close to downtown. It offers a first floor bedroom and bath. Close to Summer Memories. Now offering WiFi.

    THIS HOME DOES NOT PROVIDE LINENS OR TOWELS. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN OR CALL US TO RENT THEM.

    Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund  of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As always, Misty Manor was clean and ready to go for our vacation. The rental company always has everything ready and the cleaners do an excellent job in getting it ready. We love staying next to the Beebe ranch! Plus it's a nice, quiet neighborhood just far enough away from the craziness of pony week.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First time ever renting this home an will never rent again! Beds were terribly uncomfortable, the upstairs bedroom smelled for terrible of dog urine/feces,thanfuly there was only 4 in our party an just used the down stairs other than to shower! There was a old futon mattress on the floor that had **** spots on it as well as the carpets.. The down stairs looked as it had not been swept being there was a excess amount of sand on the floors along with dog hair. Not to mention all the feral cats on the property that were causing having all the time coming on to the screened in porch being screen door didn't close tight enough unless you had it locked at all times nor did them move when coming in the driveway literally had to drive around them! Grass was overgrown with made it more buggy and Ticks! We have rented through Harbor Rentals for 13 years an this is the first time we have ever been displeased and were ready to just go home!

Loved the loft bedroom and the house is in good condition. There was minor problem with the bathroom electricity wall plugs but I am sure that has been adjusted. Would stay there any time possible. Recommended for a rural vibe close to facilities!

While we did experience some trouble with marauding feral cats (they broke into the screened in porch and destroyed some bagged garbage there) management was quick to repair the compromised screen door. Nice floor plan.

The additional bedrooms downstairs gave our guests their own space. The screened in back porch was excellent .....we ate almost all our meals there and watched the Beebe's ponies next door. Upon arrival, the property was very clean and smelled great. We will definitely stay here again.

On the Cheap

From the Ancient screen door that doesn’t latch on the back porch to the utensils in the kitchen this house was outfitted very cheaply. The lighting in the kitchen barely illuminated it. House was furnished from a yard sale with not one piece of furniture matching another. Who ever did the sheet rock work in the kitchen never bothered to sand the repair smooth and just painted over it instead. Many Feral cats wander the Area and the property owner of the house in front of this one is the keeper of them and is unstable to say the least and accused us of trying to harm her cats in a screaming rant. Bathrooms are tiny and one only had the inside liner of a shower curtain. At close to $200 a day after taxes and fees it was far from acceptable!!!

Ponies in the neighbor's back yard, which were fun to watch. The dishwasher did not work, which we were very disappointed in since we do some cooking. No cookie sheets there for baking but there were some other large kettles for cooking crabs. Check in and check out were easy and seamless.

Pretty great stay at Misty Manor

We loved watching the ponies at the famous Bebee Ranch next door (where Misty of Chincoteague lived!). And it was great to eat our meals and relax on the roomy screened porch (because it gets buggy). We played yard games in the shade on the side of the house. We really appreciated having two bathrooms, a washer and dryer and a dishwasher (albeit an old one). But it was a challenge to take our dog outside because of all of the cats that live in the neighboring houses. Really there are at least 12 cats! So if we bring our dog we will not stay here again unfortunately.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Misty Manor is a great place to stay. It is very homey and is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We have rented this same house every year we have been to Chinoteague and we wouldn’t want it any other way. It is private and quiet. Harbour Realty Company has been great to deal with and has always responded to questions or concerns promptly and courteously. We would definitely give Misty Manor and Harbour Realty a 5 Star rating!

Chincoteague vacation with pets

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is an older home, but it worked well for our family. It is at the end of a lane, so there is no road traffic. There are other houses close by. The pluses of this house for us were that it was pet friendly, has central air (which works very well), 2 full bathrooms, the screened in porch and a washer and dryer. The appliances and furniture are older. The yard was overgrown, but someone did come to mow the lawn mid-week. There are a lot of animals around this house. Horses, geese, sea gulls and cats. It wasn't a problem for us, but it did cause our dogs to bark more than usual. I would consider renting this home again if traveling with pets. Harbour Rentals has been very responsive and great to deal with, and I would definitely rent from them in the future.

As noted by other guests, there are quite a few cats that are cared for by the neighbors but, that didn't bother us. The house was spacious, clean, and the screened porch a great bonus. Far enough away from the "hustle and bustle" of Main and Madddox but close enough to easily access whatever we needed in a timely manner. Would recommend both the rental company and this particular property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at many houses in Chincoteague over the years and this was the worse. We rented it last minute and the rental company was great, but the house was dirty. There was dog or cat hair everywhere. It seemed like the floor wasn’t even cleaned. The mat in the bathroom seemed like it was never washed. The worst part was the neighbors. They feed the raccoons and seagulls. We had bird poop all over our trucks the whole time and we saw raccoons in daylight. The one neighbor even yelled at us for scaring the seagulls away. I’m sorry but I would never rent this property out. It is a quiet street, but the neighbors are just horrible and very close to the house.
