My family had reservations at the Ambassador Gold Coast from Friday August 29, 2025 to September 1, 2025. When we arrived to the hotel and checked into our room
We walked into a room that was 87 degrees. Although the room temperature was set to 68 degrees, the air conditioning was not working. The room couches were also stained and torn. The bathroom floor was dirty with stains. (see picture of bathroom floor). We checked to see if we could switch our room and this was not possible. Maintenance fixed the AC the first day however.
The next day we arrived at the room in the evening after a long day of activities to find the room not clean and trash not taken into account. We called the front desk and informed that housekeeping does not clean the room only every 3 days but that if we request it they will empty out the trash and towels during our stay. We were not informed of this at check in to request in advance. I asked for someone to bring up trash bags and exchange the towels. We emptied out the trash and obtained clean towels. We
notified the front desk that we wanted the trash to be taken out and clean towels the rest of the stay. This did not happen. We cleaned the bathroom and the room ourselves and obtained towels from housekeeping during the duration of the stay. For the price we paid for the room, the service and condition of the room was not acceptable. And nothing was done to rectify the situation.
