Sunny's Landing 3000 SF home on Prairie Lake

This clean and comfortable lake home is meticulously maintained and provides the perfect getaway for any season! Has a big kitchen and large counter space where kids and/or adults can enjoy the lake view (and so can the cook!) through the two-story great room windows. Nothing obstructs the fabulous view, and we are perched just enough above the lake to give you a magnificent panorama. With plenty of space both inside and out (the adjacent lot is also part of Sunny's Landing), you'll have privacy, even with lots of people in the house.

If you are looking to relax in private with your loved ones this is a place that exudes family time. Whether it is canoeing on the lake, boating out on the lake to one of several establishments for a burger, catching some fresh fish for dinner or reading on the deck, you will be able to relax undisturbed in this unique Northwood's retreat.

This multi-level cabin has room to spread out with four bedrooms and a loft. The two story windows provide incredible views of the lake from the living room, kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped to ensure that cooking for a crowd can be done with ease. Utilize the stainless steel appliances and ample counter space to perfect your home-cook creation, as eager bystanders watch from the 5-person breakfast bar. Serve up your feast to the family around the 8-person dining table.

As the evening comes to a close, bring a bottle of wine out to the dock to celebrate another successful day spent in Chetek. After watching a spectacular sunset to the west, the first-floor master, 4 guest bedrooms and/or the loft await you inside with soft linens and ample sleeping space.

This is the 3rd year we have rented this property. It in a good location on the lake and quiet. The owner was also accommodating to a late request so that was appreciated.

As five 59 year old college roomies, we really enjoyed ourselves at this clean, updated, quiet home on gorgeous Prairie Lake! We loved the large backyard, garage bar & bonfire outside! The kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice all the bedrooms are spread out too! Can’t wait to come back again!

The property was not clean. The floors had debris and the upstairs windows had dead bugs on the window sills. The deck and outside furniture had cobwebs and debris. The owner said that just happens overnight. But after we cleaned it there were no after night issues for the rest of our stay. Numerous light bulbs were burnt out. There was a notice on the refrigerator that the water contains high nitrates and should not be drunk. I feel this should be in the description of the property when booking. The description also says there is nothing blocking the view of the lake. But there are trees on the property that block the view. The description mentions a master bedroom but in fact there is no master bedroom. There is a loft bedroom. The descriptions mentions firewood that you can purchase but there was no firewood. The kitchen and main area are very nice and the kitchen is well appointed with dishes, utensils and cooking needs. You are required to wash and put away all of your towels and to wash and put away one set of sheets and start the next. I've never had to do this at other Vrbos...

Our group of 6 had a very good time at this cabin. The owner was great and available if we had any questions. The cabin had everything we needed plus tons of extras! We enjoyed the pool table and all the games and loved having fires every night with the beautiful view!! Well definitely be booking again!!

We had such a wonderful time staying in this cabin. It was so clean and no detail was missed. It had everything we needed to make our stay carefree. We’ve stayed in quite a few different rentals in the Chetek area and this home was by far our favorite.

Let me start with WE HAD A GREAT TIME. This is a beautiful property well kept, maintained, and decorated. However if mobility is an issue and you plan to use the dock included there a a number of steps to get to the lake. I started huffing and puffing down and up but by weeks end had no problem so I view the steps as a plus. The kitchen is well stocked with matching dishes, some places we've rented look more like a rummage sale, plenty of pots & pans and other small appliances. Laundry on the main level is a plus. Very appropriately decorated interior for the location with pleasant color scheme throughout. In the downstairs are about any form of entertainment we could think of and a couple my 40 something kids had never seen, they were more from my 60 something era which I and my grandson enjoyed playing. Overall, yeah, I'd say it's a lot of money for a week for me but worth it because what price can you put on those memories.
