"Hut was well stocked with all the stuff you need. Great hot water & pressure in shower. Clean, cozy & comfortable beds. Host was very friendly and helpful. Loved our wood fired hot tub. Just be careful with the water level once you start adding people!"

"Margaret was very friendly and informative about the town and the festival. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying at her cottage. "

"5 friends seeking a relaxing getaway and we found this little gem. Booking and communication was excellent we had to change our dates at short notice which was no problem. The lodge was beautiful, so many little touches from decor to candles and was very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is stunning and we really enjoyed the wildlife and our little red squirrel pal who came each day. Would absolutely stay again. "

"We try and come to Otterburn once a year as we love the area. The cabin was very clean and well stocked with tableware amd cutlery. The veds were comfy abd the hot tub was amazing. The only thing that frustrated us was the induction hob, we have never used one before so took a lot of getting used to despite reading the instructions several times.will definitely be returning and will have hopefully mastered the use of an induction hob by then!"

"Fabulous house in a lovely location, it was perfect for long walks . The house is very roomy with fab decor. Close to a lovely restaurant we we popped in gor drinks and food a few times over the weekend. Will definitely return in the sumner months."

"Excellent location for Kielder Forest and observatory and within easy reach of the east coast. Easy to get to accommodation with plenty of surrounding walks. Quiet"

"What a fantastic Arts and Crafts house. It didn’t fail to impress huge space we weren’t falling over each other kitchen was fantastic with plenty space to cook all utensils glasses plates etc were excellent. Absolutely loved the huge dining table can only say fantastic "

"Fantastic property with everything you'd need, or thought you didn't need.... great hosts who were eager to make sure we'd settled in and had everything we needed or any help with suggestions for sight seeing (although great information book supplied). We were new to the area but found the location perfect as a base for exploring near and far. over a few days..plenty to do on your doorstep with shops and eateries with-in Melrose if you don't fancy cooking. "We wanted to stay in Melrose as it was perfectly placed to visit family living in the area . We were delighted to have chosen the cotttage as it was in a perfect location only a 2 min walk down to the Market Place and the shops Melrose Abbey ,pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. We had on street parking outside the door another plus! The cottage sleeps 4 but we were just a couple so had lots of room .
