Four bedroom lodge -  Sleeps 10 -  Pet friendly lodge. 

Hillside lodge is the perfect place for groups to come together, whether that's hen groups, special birthday celebrations, friends or families taking a break away to enjoy each others company. With the spacious open plan living area with dining and seating for 10, its great for entertaining. With a large seating area for 10 outside and your own private hot tub, makes a great place to chill and socialise.

The shared seasonal outdoor pool is a great place to come together, relax and soak up the sun. Tor Farm is a perfect place to explore the surrounding area for walks with your loved ones (including those four pawed).

- Lodge suitable for dogs, please select option on booking form
- Please advise at booking if 2nd bedroom is to be king bed, if not requested in advance default will be twin beds
- Check-in between 3-7pm on day of arrival, contactless check in available for late check ins please advise at booking
- Check out 10am except on Sundays when check out is extended to 3pm.
- For group bookings of 10 or more - please ring to discuss before booking online
- We ask that there should be no loud noise be it from voices or music outside after 10pm, so as not to disturb other residents who wish to be quiet. If you are using the hot tub, be aware that noise travels in the still of the night, so please respect other guests who are here for a peaceful break away from it all

Peaceful stay

The property is in a lovely setting nice and quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all. Easy check in process and nice spacious communal area. Only negatives was that there were no baking trays and only 2 bin bags provided but we went and bought some more.

Family Link-up

Lovely spacious living room/kitchen area for 10 to enjoy.Great hot tub just outside and good parking area. Local area with Cheddar and Wells short drives away. Quiet and relaxing 3 nights.

A lovely luxury lodge!

We had a fabulous 4 night stay in this lovely lodge. So impressed with the standard of accommodation. Everything was finished to a very high standard. Plenty of room for lounging together, also having a TV in each room meant you could chill away from the group as well. The wood burner was lovely and we did light it although the lodge was really warm & cosy without it. The outdoor space was perfect especially the hot tub & sun beds. The location was peaceful and so pretty. We visited the shared outdoor pool which I imagine is really popular on a summers day. Access to the property via a single track road in both directions was sometimes tricky with the odd tractor passing by but to be expected for the area. Not far from Cheddar which was lovely to walk around & see the sights. Would highly recommend & book again in the future. Thank you Karen & Brian.

Fabulous stay - recommended

The lodge was perfect for our group of four couples, a young child and a dachshund. We could relax in the spacious lounge and enjoyed the hot tub. We would completely recommend this property. Thanks to Karen.

Hillside lodge was amazing !

Really great place to stay for large group get together, we had 6 adults and 4 kids staying at one point and it didn’t feel crowded at all! The place was really clean and the grounds and amenities were really excellent. We met one of the hosts and he was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to go for. A stay ! Lovely and quiet and a great base for day trips to cheddar, wells and only an hour or so the coast and Bristol.

Wonderful property- would stay again

A fantastic property and great location. Such a lovely stay- we all really enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely book again. Karen was great and on hand for anything you needed. We loved that you could purchase fresh eggs. Facilities were great and didn’t need anything! Kids loved the pool and the hot tub was great too.

Perfect place for our family reunion…

Celebration weekend for a group of 10

The property was amazing , true to its pictures . Immaculate and had everything you needed for a great weekend . Plenty of towels , crockery and toiletries. Hot tub and swimming pool were nice and clean . The host , Karen , was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her . The late checkout on a Sunday was a great bonus . We will defo be returning .

Great place, particularly for a group

The property is nestled in the pretty countryside and is very peaceful. The lodge was impeccably clean, warm and comfortable. There was plenty of space for six adults from four different households, occupying four double rooms and the large dining table allowed us to gather round and play cards and board games. We were very impressed.

Great family get together

We had a fantastic stay for our annual family get together. The lodge is fantastic, loads of space and kitted out to a high spec. The hot tub was of course a great addition and heated to a lovely temperature. Karen was super responsive and very quick to pop tea towels and oven gloves in which had got missed at the last changeover. Located in a great spot down a country lane - climbing the hill opposite is a must if you can, amazing views!

Lovely holiday

Just got home from a week at hillside and we’re already wanting to come back and stay again, the area/walks are rural and just countryside, very peaceful, the lodge is modern and luxury, it was 19degrees nearly everyday and sunbathing in the garden on the sun loungers felt like we was abroad it was a proper sun trap! comfy big bed and a really spacious living/kitchen area! We will 100% be coming back all u can hear is birds chirping and farm animals so peaceful!

Excellent stay

We booked the lodge for my fiancés 30th birthday and had 9 people in total. It was perfect for us and had so many amenities so we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. Very clean and tidy and a great space for socialising and enjoying a relaxing weekend with friends. Would definitely recommend!

Perfect Family Getaway

We surprised my brother for his 40th birthday with this little getaway. We all haven't been to Somerset since we were younger so it was lovely. Perfect location and even better as provided in the property was a book with local information (e.g restaurants/takeaways/activities). We had the Hillside lodge which was absolutely incredible- so clean! Karen is so friendly and helpful especially leading up to the stay regarding our family dog. The property is perfect for any type of getaway! I would highly recommend!
