🔑You’ll have private use of the residence throughout your stay, aside from the attached garage, which is not available to guests.

🚗This home is also about 2 miles away from Duchess Creek Marina. Boat rentals available, fuel up the boat, buy some merch, grab lunch and snag an ice cream sandwich for the water.

Lovely home near the lake. We really enjoyed dining on the back deck among the trees and watching the birds. House was new and clean, equipped with everything we needed and then some! * Travel cups/tupperware for lake
* Phone chargers
* Plastic bags for wet clothes
* Ziplock bags for kitchen use and phones for when you are on the lake
* Beach umbrella/tent/canopy if needed
* Back-up plan for rain days. We get a lot of pop-up showers or storms so you may want an umbrella, tennis shoes, or favorite game (though we have several!)
* Water shoes, hiking shoes/boots, and if raining, rain boots

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

🔌Unplug and trade screen time for porch time. This home is TV-free by design.

🌳A Note About Our Lakeside Setting--Our home is located in a scenic lake and forest area, which means you’ll be immersed in nature during your stay. Although we have regular professional treatments in place, the natural surroundings may occasionally bring sightings of insects or spiders, especially outdoors. This comes with the territory of being close to the water and trees, and we take thoughtful steps to keep the space clean and comfortable for our guests. We appreciate your understanding and hope you enjoy the peaceful beauty and character of our rustic retreat!
1. Check-In/Check-Out:
Check-In: 4:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM

2. Occupancy:
Maximum occupancy is 5 guests. Please do not exceed this number without prior approval from the host.

3. Noise:
Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM. Please be respectful of neighbors.
No loud music or parties.

4. Pets:
Pets are allowed. Dogs only, limit of two unless otherwise approved. Please do not leave unattended, do not allow on any furniture, leash while outdoors and properly dispose of any outputs in the yard.

5. Smoking:
This is a non-smoking property. Smoking is allowed only outside, away from open windows and doors, and all smoking materials must be disposed of properly.

6. Housekeeping:
Please leave the property in the condition you found it.
Use provided trash bags and dispose of trash in the outdoor bins.
Do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.

7. Appliances:
Report any malfunctions or issues with appliances to the host immediately.

8. Outdoor Use:
Use of the BBQ grill is allowed; please move away from house while in use, turn off propane (if applicable) after each cook and clean any heavy deposits after use.
No open fires unless in the designated fire pit, and always ensure fires are completely extinguished before leaving unattended.

9. Damages:
Report any accidental damages to the host immediately.
Guests agree to pay for any damages caused during their stay.

10. Parking:
Parking is available in front and beside the home.

11. Lost Key
A $35 fee will apply if front door key is lost.

12. Respect for Property:
Treat the property as if it were your own.
Any unauthorized use of the property, including hosting events not agreed upon in advance, may result in eviction without refund.
