Living room with cathedral ceiling 5m high with fireplace, living room with 2 sofas and armchairs, dining area, a corner office or board games. The balcony to relax in the sun and admire the panoramic view of the valley and mountains. Fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer). 4 bedrooms: 2 with twin beds that can be brought together and 2 with bunk beds + 1 pull-out bed. 3 bathrooms (1 bathtub, 2 showers), 3WC including 1 independent with sink.
Basic groceries are at your disposal.
Linen is available on request: 20 euros per person (sheets and towels).
We provide the wood for the fireplace.

Appartement charmant au cœur de Chatel, tout équipé. Tout peut se faire à pied, facilement. Proche du centre, à 2 pas des pistes avec les navettes, et tout proche d'une piste de luge / grande clairière. Communication très fluide avec Annick et Anne.

This is a charming duplex apartment perfectly located to enjoy a week's skiing in the Portes du Soleil. We were 8 in total which was a bit of a squeeze but plenty of bathrooms for all. The kitchen is it small but

Dans l’ensemble nous sommes tout à fait satisfait de notre séjour. Dans les petits couacs, La machine à café à filtre n’avait pas été nettoyée depuis longtemps et comportait du moisi car le filtre était pourri. La machine à laver la vaisselle n’avait pas été vidée et quelques draps, certes propres, avaient des trous.. Caroline nous a contactés pour avoir l’heure de notre arrivée mais nous aurions apprécié qu’elle nous précise que la route était fermée de trois heures à 6h

Gezellige chalet met goede voorzieningen

Compacte maar sfeervolle chalet met alle gemakken voorzien. Door de twee verdiepingen hebben we goed met 2 families hier onze wintersport kunnen vieren. De gastheer was goed en makkelijk bereikbaar en behulpzaam. De afstand tot de bus is met een klein klimmetje prima te doen en het balkon staat heerlijk in de zon als je ‘s middags thuis komt na een dag skiën. De verbinding met Port du Soleil is goed.

Für uns war die Wohnung optimal gelegen für Wanderungen und Rennradtouren. Die Wohnung ist zwar nicht sehr groß , aber ausreichend für unsere Bedürfnisse. Wir würden die Wohnung wieder buchen.

Vacances d’hivers entre amis au top

Annick nous a très bien renseigné sur le logement mais également sur les activités de la région. Nous avons passé d’excellents moments à chatel pour nos vacances d’hiver. L’appartement/chalet propose des espaces correctement agencés avec un salon suffisamment grand pour accueillir 8 personnes. La décoration est typique et chaleureuse. La vue du balcon est top. L’appartement est bien situé à quelques minutes à pieds du centre. Une petite pente mène au parking couvert (la remontée en voiture peu se montrer plus complexe en cas de neige : chaînes ou chaussettes conseillées). Nous avons passé un superbe séjour et sommes ravis des échanges avec le propriétaire. Bon séjour !

Nous étions 7 dans la location. Au rdc 1 chambre lit double et une petite chambre avec lits superposés. 2 salles d’eau et 2 toilettes. A l’étage 1 chambre lit double et une chambre lits superposés. 1 wc et 1 salle de bain. Rdc cheminée en état de marche, kitchenette et balcon. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette location très bien située à 2minutes à pied de la navette gratuite qui passe très régulièrement (environ toutes les 15 minutes) Centre ville à 5 minutes à pied. Nous y reviendrons sûrement

Cosy and well appointed chalet, ideal for a family skiing holiday

We spent 6 days in the chalet for a family skiing holiday in January 2018. The chalet is reasonably close to the town centre (10 minutes walk) and there is a bus link into town and to the Vonnes ski lifts at the top of the drive. The chalet is cosy and well equipped, and looks fresh and well maintained. Apart from the main double bedroom, the other bedrooms are small but nice and warm. Overall we had a lovely stay and felt the chalet was very good value for money. Thank you to Andy for showing us round and being available during our stay; and also to Annick, the owner.

Nous avons passé un peu plus d'une semaine dans ce logement très bien situé, à quelques kilomètres de plusieurs villages de montagnes, et de la Suisse. Beaucoup d'activités possibles en été avec le MultiPass. Grand logement avec plusieurs lits et salle de bain. Cuisinette fonctionnelle. Hôte attentive à nos besoins. N'hésitez pas.

On n'a pas trouvé mieux ...

Photos et châlet conformes aux photos et à nos espérances. Bonne situation, très bien équipé, et tout et tout et tout. Que dire de plus, sinon que vous pouvez le louer sans appréhension. Je le recommande. Par contre j'ai un regret concernant la commune de Châtel, pas de défilé ou autre (hormis dans une salle) le jour du carnaval, triste. Bonne glisse aux skieurs.

Compact apartment

We were a party of 7 (5 adults and 2 children) enjoying the pistes in February half term. Communication - the owner was excellent at emailing me back with answers to my questions. Location - The apartment is in a house of a number of other apartments conveniently located just a short walk from town and the 3 stops from the ski lifts in both directions. The walk up to the main road is a bit steep, but you'd expect that in a ski resort. The bus stop is at the junction of the road the apartment is on (Rue de Chemin) and the main road (Rue de Vonnes), which is approx 100m away. We had two 9 year-old children with us and they walked that distance to and from the bus stop no problems with their ski boots on. Ski bus: the bus we used ("I") is connecting the town center and the two lifts at Vonnes. They go every 15 minutes until the lifts close, then with a reduced time table. There is an extensive bus route connecting Chatel with a number of valleys. We did not use the SuperChatel, but opted for the two lifts at Vonnes, which were not busy at all (even in half term). The Portes du soleil and the Gabelou take you either into the top of the SuperChatel or towards Linga. They are both very good chair lifts. Skiing: we had excellent skiing, as it had snowed just the week before we arrived. We had glorious sunshine and were able to explore the complete Portes du Soleil area. You get get to Switzerland, Avoriaz and through Morzine even to Les Gets. It is an amazing resort. I was very surprised how little queueing there was for the lifts for this time of the year. Apartment: It does have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living/dining area and a tiny kitchen. Everything is there, but things are a bit on the small size. I suppose for a holiday it is fine. The kitchen is well stocked with cuttlery and crockery, plenty of of pots and pans to be self catering. There is oven, microwave, coffee machine, nespresso machine, kettle, toaster, grill in the oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher. The fireplace is amazing and it is a real treat to have a wonderful open fire. We only did it one night, as the apartment is very lovely and warm without it. There was plenty of hot water for the 7 of us to use. The wifi was very useful, especially when we were all uploading our activities of the day, comparing speeds and achievements. We have used the balcony a couple of times, when we got back from a long day of skiing, enjoying a beer in the sun. All in all, definitely recommended
